Why are you still comparing him to 'the previous guy in charge'? The choice wasn't to stick with Coyle or appoint Freedman, the choice was to appoint an experienced manager like Mick McCarthy, or a relative novice like Freedman. They've both had seven games in charge of their respective clubs and at this stage there's more chance of Ipswich making the play-offs than us.

The fact that Freedman should be going out just to win 1-0 at home to Ipswich (bottom 3 of the championship at home, and having lost 5 nil & 6 nil on their previous away games) is very worrying indeed, even more worrying is that we scored in the 6th minute - therefore did he expect the team to shut up shop for 84 mins ??

I do think that some people will put up with fcuking anything - that was sh*te today and Freedman's post match comments are weak as p*ss - we needed someone to come in and sort these wasters out not come out with crap like this....

Very disppointed with Freedman today in every aspect, I thought he was a young upfront no nonsence manager who would shake things up and do and say what was needed - IMO those comments in that interview are quite alarming to say the least even after 7 games.

it'd be great to see a game out - he's right - but do you try to simply "see a game out" if you score after 6 mins??" - of such stuff is made ulcers!! 8)

Well, obviously Freedman's not at fault for the shocking finishing we saw today now is he? We reall should have bee three up at the break. However, I was rather bemused by his aftermatch interview on GMR where he was complaining that we didn't know how to see a game out at 1-0. At what point were today's substitutions geared around seeing the game out?

See it's things like this that show up his inexperience as a manager. He's still got a lot to learn and it's costing us points while he fannies about trying things out.

He's right though. Dougie is being cut some slack for being as shit at getting enough wins as Coyle... But it's okay for him because he talks a cracking game. Magic wands and all kinds if stuff.

It'd be alright if we had Mark Hughes.

Surely the only reason people are 'cutting slack' if that's what they're doing is because he's had 7 fecking games.

If Allardyce was judged in this way, he'd have been hounded out when Tranmere beat us in the semi final.

Takes time to turn round a sinking ship.

Is he feck right.

Coyle presided over a side getting weaker by the day. HIS side. That HE'D laughingly built.

Freedman has been here 5 minutes. Until he knows who will fit into his plans, who is and isn't up for it etc he's going to have to take a look at everyone. If you think he can take a team who have had a losing habit over the last 2 years and turn them into world beaters in less than a month, then you're extraordinarily naieve.

Freedman picks a side that only 2399 on acid could think of.

I'm not expecting us to become world beaters overnight. But he's making glaringly obvious mistakes that I believe are costing the team.

Playing M Davies wide right... Surely he's seen this doesn't work. Taking off your only outballs to defend the lead against a team who before that had barely crossed the halfway line, which in turn attracts pressure, which in turn leads to conceding goals. His use, yet again of Benik Afobe.

See now that's the sort of piss-weak excuse that just doesn't wash, when we've been beaten at home by a team managed by someone who has been in charge for all of '5 minutes' as well.
