I'll say the same thing I've said after each of the last 3 home games.

Regardless of wether it was Coyle or Freedman in charge. That performance, line-up and subs was feckin' shit.

Keep hearing that he's still learning about the team. It's worrying that he's made the same shit decisions numerous times.

Not the result we wanted (obviously)
The one positive to take from this is that everyone will now stop banging on about being undefeated under the new manager.
We will be in this division for the forseeable future, so lets hope the team dig in and realise that they are not guaranteed promotion, and need to fight hard to do the best for themselves and the club.

I'm after a job in football.

Preferably as a manager on £1m a year.

Previous experience - none.

Football knowledge- don't ever start Andrews, Mears and Kevin Davies in a team higher than the Sunday League.
They're dirty, they're filthy, they're never gonna last.
Poor man last, rich man first.

As much as I question the 4-4-2 I think reason we didn't win was ultimately down to missed chances. For 70 minutes we dominated albeit without creating much.

There is one constant though, when Eagles is shit we are shit,

Which is worrying. We need to find other players to spark us.

What a surprise. The team play crap. Ngog was possibly the worst player on the field. so lets give Kevin Davies some stick

We were a damned sight less threatening once he went off

Which is true. He still missed the two crucial chances.

Ultimately he wasn't the worst of the two strikers we had today.

He did however probably cost us the win.

What has this guy learned? Do not tinker with a winning team? How many lessons does he need?
Well after his other win he kept the exact same team and we drew 0-0
So one more point than we managed today then.
You weren't happy though
No shit Sherlock. We should be winning home games... or at least attempting to.

What a surprise! You missed the other part of my post. I'll ask you again - When Coyle was sacked - was it his team that wasn't up to it, or was he not getting enough out of the players he had bought?

I thought it was Mears who gave away the penalty after Knight had been skinned?
Was it Bogdan who spilled the shot for the winner or was it Davies?
Without those 2 errors we'd have won 1-0 wouldnt we?

Feckin Ipswich again eh! :hang:

Delivered our only home defeat in that season we pi**ed the league. :hang:

That Worthy goal, they actually won 3-2. :hang:

Ipswich are quite good at pi**ing on our chips so lets not be too despondent. 8)

Why do think that might be Einstein?
Because they are the same inconsistent players we've had for the last two years would be my guess. Or am I overthinking this.

Maybe that's too bleeding obvious for a genius like you to comprehend.
I was hoping to hear your answer old boy? It's a tricky one isnt it? d you think it might be that coyle did not assemble a very good squad aswell as being rubbish at training and managing them?

As for DF yes I think the constant rotation is iffy but that doesnt explain why players who played both games where bad today, the team we put out should be able to play that system and beat Ipswich. You judge Freedman at the end of the season or to be honest the end of next season. He's inherited a madmans jigsaw, strikers who can t score defenders who cant keep a clean sheet midfielders who either have a bit of flair but are totally inconsistent and have no bottle or workaday types who have their limits. That is what we've had for 18 months under suspect management and it will take time to sort out and undo.
He needs to sign a leader on the pitch. How many of this squad are really good enough or consistent enough to cope in the premiership? I reckon Ricketts at a push but the rest just arent that good. The reality is to get up and stay up we need a major overhaul. Players like CYL,Petrov, Mavis , Eagles do have talent but no consistency and no backbone. At best theyd be bit part players in a lower prem team.

You cant pin that on a manager who has come into this mess and had 7 games with them. It's the previous clown who put this together. You can moan about Freedman tinkering and question the line ups but at the end of the day he's trying to make a silk purse of a sows ear.It wont change overnight and it will take more than a year to sort out.

When we were looking for a manager most here ridiculed the Mccarthy idea, wouldhe have got this squad in the playoffs? Im not at all convinced. A turd is still a turd no matter how hard you polish it. Df will be here for 18 months at least so get used to it. Some weeks he will be lauded and BLT will be bored other weeks he'll be called toss and BLT will be thrilled. We most likely will end up mid table. Hopefully he can shape the squad in the summer and then we will be able to see what he can do.
