I didn't change anyone's posts, but just added OGS to the swear filter so it read Ole Gunnar Solskjær the dirty filthy red instead.
Poor BWFCi just typed in OGS, the site automatically changed it for him and I sat back laughing.![]()
I think Lord Kangana & LLS was the only one who actually got what was going on. I guess that makes him & me & him thetwothree most intelligent posters on here. Or something.

Quite?
F*cking hell Monty, don't sugar the pill!
Anyway, todays spleen is mostly being vented at administrators/liquidators.

Re: Today I'm angry about.....
Not angry, just very sad indeed. One of the guys that I deal with in Denmark has over time become something of a good mate. Always makes sure that I'm more than well looked after when I'm over there, I even got to take him to the Masters last year. Well, he's been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and, at best, well, it's not looking good. He's the same age as me.
May the bridges I burn light your way

Re: Today I'm angry about.....
This London thing is starting to grate, especially now as im beginning to feel my safety is compromised, just don’t need this shit.
Almost every day we get house emails reminding us to be extra vigilant as somebody else from the building was mugged, attacked or robbed on the street outside, had their bike nicked or been victim to drive-by bag snatchers! Apparently its the time of year, and the local population of city bankers plus our proximately to the tube station means were in a hotspot. Sunday nights are worse, 11.15pm-ish i emerge from the underground, with all my worldlies in a bag on my back - then it just feels like im running a gauntlet from there all the way back to the flat, pubs are shut, shops are shut, fkin horrible.
There are bobbies on the beat when you go out at lunchtime, warning you that wearing headphones or talking on your phone will attract thieves, but they’re nowhere to be seen at that time or at 6am when im on my way to work in the dark. Its no wonder folk carry knifes! Im gonna get myself a big f uck off Crocodile Dundee blade just in case.

Knives don't cut the mustard. Not only do you get done just for possession, but if you pull it you might have to use it and you really don't want to do that. What you need is a one foot length of 2" diameter lead piping... that'll sort the buggers.General Mannerheim wrote:This London thing is starting to grate, especially now as im beginning to feel my safety is compromised, just don’t need this shit.

ha, we are near Old Street, its pretty much the corner between North London, the East End and the City. Old Street is the border between The City and Islington. south of the street is St Marys Axe, Herron Tower, penthouses and ferraris to the north is council housing, boarded up shops and a rough arse pubs. its pretty common in my experience of the capital that standards dont decline gradually, its literally across the street, millionaires one side, squallor the other. I dont think its a rough area tho, i just think it attracts undesirables; there are a lot of people, a lot of money and a lot of hiding places.

Re: Today I'm angry about.....
Was never a fan of the Old St area when I lived in London. I usually had a softball bat handy, so never had any problems, though some bloke tried to run me over in Poplar once

Re: Today I'm angry about.....
hmmm...
had planned a lie in today...
but - daughter misses college bus to paignton - so I kindly drive her in - car knackers itself on way home (engine coil?) having only been repaired last tuesday - losing power and stalling every time I slow down - then have to take bike down to garage for electrical repairs (failed MOT as the indicators are not flashing quite as fast as they should
) and needs new tyres...
great start to monday!
