Re: Huddersfield Away
I blame Eagles for missing a penalty, but who the hell has told him to take them, SKD was always steady on pens and he was on the pitch. Admittedly there was a long time to go from there. But for me he should NOT be the designated pen taker.Vertigo wrote:Can't really blame ream for an OG and a missed pen. Clearly should have won that 2-0!![]()
Going nowhere fast with these fecking 1 pointers.
Very disappointing again, gonna be a long winter

Until we start taking our chances or stop letting cheap goals in we will continue to struggle.
Beginning to look like January is a very very big month if we are to salvage anything at all from this season.
The result feels worse because we were winning. The other way round and it would be a good point.
A point away from home though is what we have got, better than I expected at the start of today.

If he'd assembled this squad I'd say yes, but he hasn't.thebish wrote:is that the manager's fault?BWFC_Insane wrote:So bottom line is we don't take our chances and let in soft goals.

He's setting the team up right, we look better organised and are now hard to beat.
We are actually very close to winning games which is an impvoevent on where we were.
But we are lacking in quality at both ends of the field. Too much of Eddie's money was chucked away on absolute rubbish by the last guy. Ream, Alonso, Sordell, Ngog, expensive buys that can't get in a championship side. And in several cases shouldn't be anywhere near one.
That's my opinion. Freedman has done as much as possible to change what was happening.
It's clear we don't have the right mentality as a team or the right quality in certain areas.
Looking more and more to me like a clear out of the rubbish is required.
That's my opinion. No more no less.

I actually have to admit that I agree with the majority of this.

Mills was injured, not much choice really.

That's fair and true. Right up to the point he pulls out yet another of his tactical masterstrokes and within seconds flushes the points down the toilet.BWFC_Insane wrote:He's setting the team up right, we look better organised and are now hard to beat.

Although the not much choice was in part due to the selection of only one defender in the six outfield substitutes.Turkish Trotter wrote:Martin_Cruise wrote:officer_dibble wrote:On comes ream...bye go the points

Do we not have a scouting system ... Or does the manager have to do everything?BWFC_Insane wrote:If he'd assembled this squad I'd say yes, but he hasn't.thebish wrote:is that the manager's fault?BWFC_Insane wrote:So bottom line is we don't take our chances and let in soft goals.

Ultimate responsibility yes but are we really saying all,the hiring and firing ... On this basis freedmans best 11 doesn't offer too much change from the last blokes... Although Petrov may have been around to pop in the pen under OC..
I don't really go for the Cult of the manager whoever he is.. But on ythe logic that Coyle was shit because of selections and results,, this blokes just as bad but his pr is better..
Personally I think it's the same shit players we've had form2 seasons.. And I don't think Oc carries all the blame.. A decent lump but there are others just as culpable...
