I had to purchase 26 copies of The Daily Mail to procure that a few years back.David Lee's Hair wrote:The entire series of THe World at War - £20 Tesccy's... Superb!
Luckily my dad "reads" that particular bog-roll, so I had a ready made excuse for the people who looked at me like I was some kind of Nazi at the checkouts in WHSmiths.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.

Worth it for the theme tune alone. £20 that is, not buying the Mail for a monthLord Kangana wrote:I had to purchase 26 copies of The Daily Mail to procure that a few years back.David Lee's Hair wrote:The entire series of THe World at War - £20 Tesccy's... Superb!

I can see that tenseness is a part of your problem, Worthy. Hopefully tomorrow brought you relief.

Officially given up on it apart from a bit of watering. On the other hand my bougainvilleas are doing rather well. The lettuce are coming on a treat, but the cat pissed all over them and I'm not sure I can bring myself to eat them (the lettuce, not the cats).

You can console yourself with the knowledge that the cat's urine is both sterile and anti-bacterial, so they've done you a favour.Abdoulaye's Twin wrote:The ants take care of the lawnLost Leopard Spot wrote:Don't forget to weed the lawn. I'm quite fond of cat pee soaked lettuce, but I think they'd have wilted by the time you shipped 'em back here.Abdoulaye's Twin wrote:Bit too organic for my taste. Now there's an idea for the Fat Duck - a salad assembled with different urine dressings and marinades (rocket soaked in dog pee, beetroot marinated in goat's pee, spring onions with camel pee dressing, etc)

After 8 months of uncertainty, at 10.21 am I had a phone call to say that the job for which I was interviewed yesterday is officially mine
I'm thinking it's gonna be a liquid and fun weekend.

Are you sure you've got the time correct there Bob, it wasn't 10:22 and 15 seconds by any chance - which is when I heard a large explosion of joy rumbling through my foundations.Bijou Bob wrote:After 8 months of uncertainty, at 10.21 am I had a phone call to say that the job for which I was interviewed yesterday is officially mine![]()

I can pack it with a drip feed of the pee if you're that fond of it. Just let me know where...Lost Leopard Spot wrote:I'm quite fond of cat pee soaked lettuce, but I think they'd have wilted by the time you shipped 'em back here.Abdoulaye's Twin wrote:Bit too organic for my taste.
