TW Members. Introspection on an Epic scale.

Re: TW Members. Introspection on an Epic scale.
Some crazy Turks invaded telling us how we were signing Harry Kewell and how that how meant we'd get into the Sampions Ligue. They then called us all 'Basterds'. I think.
They were piss funny, defo my favourite WUMs.

Though the time when Enfield lost access to his existing file of 1,000's of posts, renamed himself Gary the Enfield and was greeted by Mummy saying "hey, there's another guy from Enfield, you should meet him !" was pretty funny (unless you were G-t-E)

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Glancing at Tango's enter Maximus thread I saw a couple of names of posters I'd forgotten about; Gertie & Warthog. Where did they get to?

I think Warty left with a flourish to set up his own site. Gertie got a severe attack of baby.Harry Genshaw wrote:Glancing at Tango's enter Maximus thread I saw a couple of names of posters I'd forgotten about; Gertie & Warthog. Where did they get to?

I'm not sure about that, Worthy - Warty may have been banned (well, he told me he was). Sluffy went to manage another site (Burnden Aces I think) though he occasionally turns up here and is not banned.Worthy4England wrote:I think Warty left with a flourish to set up his own site. Gertie moved and now has two babies and little time for BWFC. Plus her favourite player was Jussi....

I actually entered The Pets Thread in the search panel, to avoid starting another, and came up with this one.Harry Genshaw wrote:Glancing at Tango's enter Maximus thread I saw a couple of names of posters I'd forgotten about; Gertie & Warthog. Where did they get to?
Oh, and Warthog was never banned. He left of his own accord. Fact.

You are, of course, closer to the administrative centre of things than I ever was. Warthog told me his account was deactivated and he never got any sort of satisfactory explanation as to why. He subsequently signed on as Warthog's Friend but didn't stay long. I have no reason to disbelieve either of you. Perhaps ban is the wrong term...TANGODANCER wrote:I actually entered The Pets Thread in the search panel, to avoid starting another, and came up with this one.Harry Genshaw wrote:Glancing at Tango's enter Maximus thread I saw a couple of names of posters I'd forgotten about; Gertie & Warthog. You beat me to it, TD. I can confirm that Warthog wasn't banned although I do believe he says (and may think) he was. He can come back any time he wants as far as I'm concerned. He was a good poster - although he used to go off on one on occasions. (Don't we all?)TANGODANCER wrote:

He somehow could no longer access his own persona .... so had to create a new one & start as a newbie. The posts remain, I think.Gooner Girl wrote:How on earth did he manage to lose posts?! Just to put the score straight: I've checked out the Warhog situation. He left, as I said, of his own accord, but returned and was later banned for life. I had, I'll admit, forgotten about the second situation, that's why I checked. Officially, he's banned permanently. Here endeth the matter.
