Re: Worthy's better class of transfer thread
Just throwing a couple of names in but if we are looking for strikers how about Chris Wood who is on loan at Millwall and available for £1m or maybe Craig Davies at Barnsley. I know they are not inspiring names but they have the goals in them to get us out of this league.
Re: Worthy's better class of transfer thread
Ronaldo is reported to be unhappy at Madrid, mind you he might not put a "shift in" so not a good idea.

Darren Bent is sat on his arse at Villa

Well, he was handy enough at scoring against us. Not sure if he'd do it for us.ChrisC wrote:Darren Bent is sat on his arse at Villa

Re: Worthy's better class of transfer thread
Take a lot to persuade Woods to join from his loan at Millwall but he has grabbed 8 in 13
Pfffft.
Re: Worthy's better class of transfer thread
Will be interesting to see who, if anyone, joins the club in January. I'll be shocked if any of the names mentioned on here turn up!
On the transfer theme, anyone heard mention of Dean Austin lately. He got a job scouting for us in February, having been unceremoniously sacked by one D. Freedman at Palace.

Palace's chief scout has just left the club and it's rumored that we might be on his way to the Wanderers, David Sclanders

I wish we still had Klasnic. He'd be scoring for fun.

This is going to be a class transfer thread when the window opens - just scrolling up, there's already been mentions of Ronaldo and Darrent Bent.

No Veloso though.Worthy4England wrote:This is going to be a class transfer thread when the window opens - just scrolling up, there's already been mentions of Ronaldo and Darrent Bent.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Re: Worthy's better class of transfer thread
Do you think we might try and get Miguel Luis Pinto Veloso, we're a bit short on defensive midfielders?
That's not a leopard!
