Slow internet in Korea :D

Wasn't that a rumour back in pre-season? Nothing on newsnow.co.uk

Maybe someone should pop down the oracle and ask him.

He doesn't worth that much now unfortunately.. 8 million is just ridiculous for a player who struggles time to time in the championship

Couple of strange responses..

"He was good last year"

"I don't like Asian players".
"I've got the ball now. It's a bit worn, but I've got it"

Maybe he needs a change of scenery but whatever it is he certainly isn't doing it for us right now. Can't see him going to QPR only to end back up in this league next season though.

He's looking better with each game. He's scored a few too..

Not sure I agree that "he needs a change of scenery"

That's dangerously close to a joke, stop it.

I can see him going but not for such an amount, i reckon he'll end up at a Wigan or a Swansea for 3 or 4m

I don't want to see him go, but from a practical point of view, if there really is £8m and Premier League football/wages on offer, he's going.

Sorry.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Sorry.
He goes if Bolton want to sell him and receive an offer they want to sell him for. The rest is irrelevant.

IF anyone bids £8M then I'd say a car will be started for him pronto.

He's a good player at his best but he's not been there since his injury. There are signs he's getting better but still 8M would represent a lot for a player who has not held a regular place in a struggling championship side this season.

We want to get promoted. I really doubt we'll get to do that if we can't keep hold of our best players. Last season we couldn't keep hold of our better players from the previous campaign and we ended up getting relegated. We won't be helping the situation by having to replace Chungy with someone else. That being said I wouldn't really blame the club or player if it did end up happening.

He's a dam good player having a bit of a bad spell. Sell him and you're faced with:

1. Replacing him with somebody as good or better..at what price?
2. Can we afford their wages and, will they want to come to Bolton?
3. We're supposed to be building a team, not demolishing it.
4. If we replace him with somebody as good or better we'll be faced with the same situation, somebody will want them.
5. We want to get back in the Premiership...what then?

Yeah but you'd never sell anyone.

I'm not saying we should actively be looking to sell him. But if someone foolishly offers 8M there is no way on gods green earth that we should turn it down.

In fact there isnt one player we've got who I would not be happy to sell for 8M. A good manager can do a lot with 8M. A lot.

Mind we are not going to be offered anything like that for Lee. Not until he returns to something approaching his best and even then I can't see anyone paying that much.
