Woohoo! I'm getting them tickets refunded tomorrow then! :D

What's the general concensus, I wont be risking it by buying when I get there will I?

Would've thought it'd be ok.

It's a long way and a bastard of a journey to get turned away from, matey. Think long and hard is my advice.

Thanks Bruce, I think I'll leave my dad to make the final decision, can't be my fault then! :D

Really looking forward to this one now!

Yesh what Bruce said. I'd keep the tickets so that when you get there you can go and see if they'll let you swap. If not you still get in to watch the game albeit seated.

I'd not drive all that way ticketless on the hope of buying a terraced ticket. It only takes one delay on the motorway, you're there a bit late and the police have said "no more away ticket sales" or sommat like that.

Don't risk it.

Thank you :)

We are going to do just that, we'll stress the whole way there otherwise!

I agree, the offish site's making me nervous though, saying only limited numbers will be available. Hopefully all will work out on the day (if we get through Fri that is!).

I can't wait either COYWM! :oyea:

Hi, posh fan in peace here...the away terrace hold near enough 3500. There is not a chance in hell you would be turned away.
Great atmosphere, stewards are ok as long as no dickhead throws flares etc...Enjoy your day, except the result :)

Unfortunately, we have 'dickheads' who throw flares.

Bet he was disappointed at missing the 66 World Cup with a scoring record like that...

(someone has got him mixed up with Roger Hunt on Wiki methinks...)
:D
You could be right. Byrom was born five days after me and I think we had the same number of senior England caps.

I've lost track with who's injured - there seem to be so many. Is there any website with up to date info like that for Bolton (a bit like PhysioRoom.com but like Championship)? Bet there's not.

A quick blast through the oppo's forums reveals:
some fan on Posh wrote: 4-0 Posh (Gayle hat-trick & Tomlin Peno)
some fan on London Road wrote: If the players put as much effort in as they did at Cardiff, a win will be no problem.
:conf: I've never encountered such optimism with so little reason behind it.

Hi guys, Posh fan here in peace.

Always have had a soft spot for Bolton so hope you pick up this season and make a dart for the play offs, straight after the defeat tomorrow ;)

The poster above seems to have sifted through our site to find the two people that have made optimistic predictions. Here's a few more:

19-12-2012, 11:59 PM

We'll get fecking mullered.

18-12-2012, 09:42 PM

POSH 1-3 Bolton (Gayle)

7,111

19-12-2012, 11:40 AM

2-1 to Bolton

Tomlin red card

7500

19-12-2012, 04:42 PM

After a nice weekend of pressure-free football expect us to come back to earth with a bump as the players go back into their shell.

Posh 1-3 Bolton (Gayle)

What I would say is that if we do play to the standard we showed at Cardiff, we should realistically win. After all, they are top of the table for a reason.

Will be a tough, tough game and think it could go either way. Unfortunately, don't know enough about your current squad to go into much more analysis.

It just won't be 0-0.

Enjoy the game!

I wasn't claiming it was a universal opinion, just that I've never come across such optimism with so little reason behind it.

That was until AT reminded me about our pre-season sentiment

Well the reason behind it is because we've just gone to the team thats top of the table, with ten wins out of ten at home and the best home record in Europe and beaten them quite comfortably if you look at the stats. I guess that's where the optimism is coming from.

:D Love it.

Welcome to the site, Fella. Any chance that you can shed any light on our lot being able to turn up on the day and pay on the gate to stand on the terrace? Our ticket office is staffed by know-nowt numpties that are of no help whatsoever.
