Half-listening while doing work. He said a goal you'd expect Stoke to score, so that sounds like a central defender, not sure.

The commentator certainly has Ream's number. Was saying to run at him at every opportunity.

Well Dougies answer to a horrid defensive performance is to bring in Tim Ream at center half. I don't know whether that's indicative of Marcos Alonso being that bad or Ream being the best of a bad situation. Either way the defense doesn't fulfill me with any sort of confidence even with Warnock at left back.

It looks like the team needs confidence and a strong leader but it appears we are severely lacking in the confidence. Conceding 5 to Peterbrough was nothing short of embarrassing but we scored 4 so it shows the effort is clearly there.

Hopefully we'll manage to get a few players in during the transfer window. As much as I would like to see Warnock back at the club I think we could cope better by signing center backs instead and having players cover. Heck we've had all sorts of players cover the wingback spots, its the strong, effective center halves that are the major requirement. I would sign another goalkeeper. Having one out injured shouldn't mean Bogdan can stay in the squad regardless of performances.

We're usually a lot better in the second half of matches under Dougie Freedman, but thats usually because we've had players come off the bench and have an impact. Can't really see that happening today though unless Chungy can do something he's not been able to do all season.
