It'll be cold, it'll be shit, it'll be empty and we'll have to listen to Sunderland fans sing "your support is feckin' shit" for 90 minutes, as though bums on seats carries some kind of importance.

Are they getting some of the home end, too?General Mannerheim wrote:the Reebok will obviously be packed to the rafters with the mouthwatering visit of Premiership opposition!?

Don't think the South Stand holds that many.. Thought it was about 5000

Only ever gone to the Reebok by train before but as I've left it too late to buy advanced tickets and the weather's looking
like being quite mild we're probably going to make the journey down by car.
Any suggestions on where to park if we were to arrive around noon?

Pfft. You could have told us you were driving before I bought our train tickets!Caro-Kann wrote:Only ever gone to the Reebok by train before but as I've left it too late to buy advanced tickets and the weather's looking

Actually I prefer the train, 'slip of yer shoes, a-catch up with the news...' and all that.
I'm not asking you to 'think outside the box' I just wish you'd have a rummage around in it once in a while.

I'm pretty certain its 6000 per end, 8000-odd per side, without barriers etc etcboltonboris wrote:Are they getting some of the home end, too?General Mannerheim wrote:the Reebok will obviously be packed to the rafters with the mouthwatering visit of Premiership opposition!?

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Looks like we've sold quite a few tickets for this one - several red sections on the ticket finder.
I expected this to be a pretty quiet one...

Yeah, I just noticed that. Got the e-mail from the club and though I had no intention of going I had a nosey on the availability never having used it before. If it's accurate then the whole of the North stand has been sold out bar one block where there is limited availability and both West & East were pretty similar.HMX wrote:Looks like we've sold quite a few tickets for this one - several red sections on the ticket finder.

Now either the club have cocked up or I've read it wrong (both highly unlikely I know) then there could be well over 20,000 there.

I almost always buy my tickets online. It's usually a struggle to get them based on the ticket finder availability yet every game the place is half empty.Harry Genshaw wrote:Yeah, I just noticed that. I've always assumed it's because Bolton Central hold loads back on the off chance there's a late rush on tickets, though I'd reckon that this being a cup game they're holding them back so folk can pay on the door.

Strange one that mate. I've never had a problem with the online ticket sales - always managed to get a ticket, sometimes up to 20 mins before kick-off...CrazyHorse wrote:I almost always buy my tickets online. Worst home support in years.
Shame we got top-flight opposition and it had to be those wankers who nobody is interested in.

The sold out sections are areas where tickets are not for sale... There'll be around 12000 for this...
I won't be one of them...
