I know Football Manager can be wrong but there's no better indication for fans to see how good a player is. The scouting system FM has in place really does do a brilliant job. I think they have around 1000 scouts, so it's not 'just' a game. If I remember correctly, Everton signed a deal with Sports Interactive, who make FM, to have additional access to their scouting system.

Davies is alright on FM. He does nothing exceptional but most of his stats are around 10-15. To give you a brief idea...

First touch: 15
Creativity: 16
Passing: 16
Technique: 15

Strength: 9
Jumping: 8
Heading: 5
Tackling: 11

I think he's rated about right. Nothing exceptional but good on the ball.

See, I'd give him decent marks for running with the ball. Maybe knock a few off for blind alleys mind He most definitely wouldn't get 16 for creativity and tackling wouldn't get near 11, unless you mean 11 tackles in his whole career

Like everything else that is opinion based it's all subjective. As we can see on here all the time, no two folk see it the same.
