Sunderland attack and press well and Riley has to give a way a corner. In it comes and Lonergan punches it against a White shirt and another corner is cleared. Ricketts heads one off the line and eventually we get a throw from Chungy's defending. Lonergan seems rather shaky and needs to settle down a bit. Mackems pushing forward a bit now and making us defend. Knight clears but we lose it again. Alonso gives away a free kick....Lonergan palms it away for yet another corner. Six?

Sunderland beginning to come into it much more. Sordell " a hungry runner". Same not being said of N'gog. Andrews and Chungy scramble the ball clear and it goes out for a goal kick. We get a throw off the keeper clearance and ....Bramble and the Keeper almost have a screw up. Riley going off for Mears. Got a knock?

They have more possession but it sounds like every time we have the ball Sunderland panic

Crowd shouting to get it forward....Pratley seems to be having a decent game. N'gog gets a good run then hits Bramble and it's scrambled clear. Chungy, Pratley, Petrov...Pratley hits their player with his shot. N'gog, Chungy, Andrews....Bramble clears. Five to half time and it's still pretty frantic. "Bramble looked tired at five past three".
Ricketts gives a way a corner...Fletcher heads over with Lonergan nowhere. Keep steady lad, three minutes now..and Sunderland get yet another corner. Lonergan drops it then we make a break...and Alonso screws one wide. Lonergan...?

Bramble having a mare.."Bolton's best player"
Sunderland definitely look shaky at the back and another goal would be wonderful round about now. Mackems get a goal kick and....Sordell ....oh, it's cleared and Sunderland come again and the whistle gooes for half time to some Mackem booing. 1-0 The Whites.
" Bramble looks like he's been out all night". Love it.

So far, so good but Sunderland will come for us now. O'Neil won't be happy with old Titus. We need to keep some possession and hopefully get that kill-off goal. No real shots on goal so far and their corner count is a bit off-putting. Doesn't sound like we've been in much trouble but Lonergan is flapping for England. Almost whistle time. Come on lads, give us a win.
