I don't generally frequent coffee shops - for two reasons:

1. I am intimidated when they ask me what kind of coffee I want - cos I don't understand coffee-talk!
2. It's bloody expensive - and (as Bobo rightly points out) - a flask is the way forward...

however - I went into Tescos to use their free wifi in the cafe - and that is run by Costa... so I braved the counter

I asked for an americano - and fortunately there were no follow-up questions - EXCEPT - what size would you like, sir?

a mild look of panic flashed across my eyes - as I didn't know the categories on offer..

she informed me it was large, small or medium

I thought medium was the safest bet - and she delivered a BUCKET of coffee!!! in a thick-walled giant cup - that my granny (were she alive) would have no chance of lifting! I shudder to think how big LARGE is....

I will admit to being quite partial to a Costa coffee. Always go small unless you want to be hyper for the next 12 hours.....

I don't like coffee, so I manage to avoid them mostly, though I can be tempted to treat myself to one of the all in hot chocolates with marshmallow whipped cream and even a flake!

Put my back out a week ago and after a few days of agony where it kept going into spasm, it seemed to be getting better. Until last night. Cue a night of agony, no sleep and a trip to the docs. Years ago Diazepam and Temazepam were all the rage, but for the life of me I can't see what the fuss was all about, they're not even touching the pain

I was walking down the road with me dad and me sister the other day and one of the many local nutters walked up us and shouted a small, a medium and a large pointing at us indivdually.
