Pitch Shirt Smile. Could catch on.
Not afraid to pull the trigger. Good finisher by the look of it, which we don't have.

Boyata back at the Bok?
Manchester City defender Dedryck Boyata is believed to be a target for Championship clubs Nottingham Forest and Bolton.
Boyata is back at City after they cut short his loan stay at Dutch side FC Twente earlier this month.
City called back the Belgian as he was not playing on a regular basis for Twente and they admitted they may loan him out again so that he can play first-team football.
The news has alerted a number of clubs to the 22-year-old's availability in this month's transfer window.
Sky Sports sources understand that Nottingham Forest have enquired about Boyata as Alex McLeish looks to reshuffle his pack at the City Ground after recently taking over from Sean O'Driscoll.
Bolton are also said to have also asked about re-signing Boyata after he enjoyed a spell last season on loan at the Reebok Stadium.
Re: Worthy's better class of transfer thread
I see Leeds have managed to get Ross Barkley on loan from Everton. Quality player and would of loved to see us go for him. Scored 4 in 13 for Wednesday on loan in the first half of the season.. not bad for a midfielder.

Re: Worthy's better class of transfer thread
I thought Boyata was very solid from what I saw of him. Mears likes to get forwards, from what I've seen, so I guess it depends on how Dougie wants to roll for the future.
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.
Re: Worthy's better class of transfer thread
I think this will be a good signing as long as we play him uin the right position, should walk the championship if he is on Citys books though.
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.
Re: Worthy's better class of transfer thread
in fact I would have to say that he should start assuming he is still a right back. we have better options across all the other defensive positions although I could see him starting at centre back as he would probably be our second best CB.

Boyata seemed really kind of pointless last season to me
he was average and added squad depth that wasnt really needed that badly, however I guess we arent doing that great for right backs without steinnson here anymore.

He didn't seem to have the sort of spirit a team in a fight needed.Jez wrote:Boyata seemed really kind of pointless last season to me

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Derek Boyata declaired to never return to BWFC.
then who he described as the 'worst coach ever' left the club...
Time will tell. Can't see it though.

Sölvi Ottesen linked. A very solid defender, central defence only. Used to be the best in the league, but he's not been his own commanding self since returning from injury. Very good physically and he used to score lots of goals from set pieces.
Could possibly be a decent Championship signing. A good one even if he gets back on form.

Another Gudni? No way, but he is rock solid when at his best. It's been a while though.

Re: Worthy's better class of transfer thread
I'd have him back as long as he stood on the halfway line when we're defending set pieces.
