I would argue that this set of players is not as talented as we thought they were and Coyle told us. Whether Freedman is a good or bad manager is yet to be proved.

You mean like the losing mentality Mick McCarthy inherited at Ipswich? Because he doesn't seem to be making as much of a meal of turning it around as Freedman.
Mate, I agree with you on most of your points, but for heaven's sake give it a rest banging on about Mick McCarthy and Ipswich! I even agree with you on that point but if I'm sick of it, I bet others that don't agree are even more so!
You mean like people banging on about 'someone else's players' and 'losing mentality' every week? Or is that different?

It has every relevance to the point you were making. Because either you're seriously suggesting that we can't be expected to beat the teams i mentioned, or Dougie's not getting the best out of them. So which is it? I've already made it clear what i think of our squad. It's more than good enough to win promotion from this league.
I didn't make any such assertion. I said they are average, not great. At no point did I state, allude to or even think that our squad was any better or worse than any other. Neither did I make any reference to, allude to or think that we can beat or not beat any other team. Merely that it isn't as good as Frazier was making out.

As usual, you try to force your repetitive tired questions into any discussion, regardless of whether it is relevant or not.

I know that's why i've asked you to qualify your comments. Three times.

So how good is our squad? Better than the teams at the bottom or not? It's not a complicated question.

And I have stated already that I don't even know the name of more than 2 players from the teams you mentioned. I might as well pick a raffle ticket from a hat for all I know. What I do know is that our squad is not as good as Frazier was making out.

So, what do you think about our squad? Go on, you know you want to...

Not as talented as squad that Barnsley have? Or Ipswich? Or Sheffield Wednesday? Or Peterborough?

You can have as much talent as you like but if they can't gel as a team then you ain't got nothing.

Them teams are all below us last time I checked so I am guessing you are going of results against them? That's just like saying we are better than Man U or Arsenal etc because we have beaten them.

Now feck off being a troll.. You only ever show your face on here in a match threads when we have not won a game..

Whose responsibility is it to get the team to 'gel'?

But you know that they've been down at the bottom of the league all season, right? At least tell me you've noticed that. Do you think we have the players to beat teams down at the bottom of the league or not? I'm just trying to qualify how shit you think our squad is.

Some teams don't gel.. That's why personnel need to be changed to make things click together.. The main problem with the team is the dogshit defence and no goal forwards.. Not even Mourinho could get that defence to work as it currently stands and you will never get the goals you need from Davies and Ngog.

You honestly think Mick McCarthy could do it.. Get to feck. Now Ipswich have lost there main goalscorer in DJ Campbell they will go nowhere.

I already qualified my thoughts on the squad by rating them in my original post. This is based on what I have seen of them. Having not watched the teams in question I couldn't possibly know how good or bad they are. In order to answer your question I would have to see something of the teams. Otherwise I'd just be guessing.

What do you think of our squad?

Does 'personnel' include the manager?

Ipswich drew 0-0 at Cardiff yesterday. The first time in 25 games that Cardiff have failed to score at home.

We beat Cardiff in Dougie's first game or does that not count?

Oh and that is the second league game that Ipswich have failed to score on the spin since Campbell left.

I'm just being as obtuse as he is. I'm asking a question that has real relevance to my original post. He is asking for an opinion that I continually state I have no qualification to answer.

So you don't know anything about the Championship but you're taking someone else to task for suggesting that we should be good enough to win promotion?

Get to feck, you made a point about mighty Mick and his Ipswich team holding Cardiff to a no score draw so I made the point that we beat them.. You just twist everything people say to be controversial.

Why was Coyle struggling then?
