I really don't understand why so many rate N'Gog on here. He's a striker yet;

- he struggles to hold up the ball
- he can't beat a man
- he's not a natural finisher
- isn't blessed with blistering pace

In addition, he has fitness issues and very rarely plays a full 90.

But, of course, he works hard. Agreed, it's not a bad trait but one of the most overrated attributes, especially when the player can't supplement the high work rate with any other skill or attribute.

It's fairly obvious to anyone who watches him that he possesses the traits you mentioned, with the exception of the 'natural finisher' bit.

Your absolutely right he does possess those traits but not at the required level.

The proof will be in the pudding when/if he is sold, in terms of value and the standard of team that signs him. He won't be signing for a premier league club that's for sure, contrary to reports.

Apart from a natural finisher IMO he has the other traits you mention

This sounds positive and well done if there was competition for him.

Dunno, is he a quick fix? Doesn't sound like there'll be an option to buy as WB just want a kindergarden for him. So does he go straight into the first team? Squad player? I'm wondering if he can just walk straight into our defence at 22 and improve things, if he can then awesome.

I think we have too many folk getting confused with "he's not Davo" and "that makes him really good".

He's a below average Championship striker - like Davo.
