Puzzled that Sordell starts on the bench, especially after his midweek performance.

I'm sure about the team selection - it's bollocks.newboy wrote:What's the odds on Afobe getting on before Marv? Not sure about the team selection maybe a team of two halves?Annoyed Grunt wrote:“@OfficialBWFC: BWFC Subs: Lonergan, Ricketts, Vela, Afobe, Ngog, C Davies, Sordell”

I'm sure we'll see him in a two up top later on. There's no way on earth you could start Sordell in a one.Annoyed Grunt wrote:Puzzled that Sordell starts on the bench, especially after his midweek performance.

Good. We've waited a long while - let's not fall at the final hurdle by rushing him back in.Tals-biggest-fan wrote:No Holden at all.

Four potential strikers on the bench? Hope our defence remain uninjured.

Is it still snow covered or can they see the Green, green grass?
Strange bench selection. 1 MF, 1 DF, 1 GK, 4 forwards....

Re: Palace Game
What is the point in having four strikers on the bench? It seems absolutely pointless. It's a waste of a couple of spots. If a defender or central midfielder gets injured, we only have one option to bring on.
Anyway, this match should be a good test for Freedman. He knows their players inside out, so he should know how we can exploit them. They go into this game like any other but Freedman knows their strengths and weaknesses, and that should be a big plus for us.

Personally, I think he proved otherwise on Tuesday. I'd rather play on my own that with Kevin Davies anywayBruce Rioja wrote:I'm sure we'll see him in a two up top later on. Feck off Mears. Increasingly losing patience with Freedman.

Lively start. Eagles whistled one inches wide right off.
