Good clean sheet and a draw away from home against one of the best sides in the league can't be scoffed at. Apparently Alonso and Ream played very well, so our defence seems to be improving. I'd like to see changes up front though.

Sounded like we went for the clean sheet and hoped to catch them on the break. Looks like we achieved what we were after in defence but just couldn't carve out an opportunity up front. Not a bad result against one of the top promotion chasers but its a sad sight to see us only hoping for a result like a 0-0 draw against a team like Palace.

Seems quite a few are happy with the 1 point, more happy with the clean sheet. We get 1 point per game for the rest of the season and keep all clean sheets we'll probably move up to 15th. Oh, well, there's always next week. Thanks TD. 8)

I think DF had a feeling we'd have to fight our way back into this game hence the overload of strikers. Poor choice of subs + not enough time to make an impact left with that familiar flat feeling again.

Decent point, looks like they were having a good go at winning it, even before the late subs. Not winning today isn't a problem, not winning against millwall was. Need to follow up with some home wins. On the plus side if someone had written on here a month ago that Warnock would go back to his fat Prem reserve salary and subsequently our defence would improve with Alonso and Ream in it....?

Maybe not a poor choice of subs but a poor use of subs 85th minute subs is a bit strange but worked to get the clean sheet.

Thats a condradiction, They cant be abad team if they're one of the top promotion chasers. A 0 0 draw this season away against anyone is a great result.

Defence superb and not being rewarded by our lack of strike force(selected) is what's pissed me off today.

Dougie is at fault for this, We could have kept the same system bringing on C Davies for Davo. Then maybe N'gog for Andrews later on.

He didn't want to win as much as he didn't want to lose today and its cost us 2 points.

4 minutes to go before changing it up top is a little like sticking £1 on red and black for the same spin.

Do you always whine so much? I suppose you'll be bemoaning the fact mars bars are smaller than they used to next
I'm not under any obligation to do anything else! If you're happy with this season and these decisions then good for you. And you're seriously not baffled by the exclusion of Sordell?
There is a whole host of reasons why he might not play Sordell. We've had a shit season or 3. Doesn't mean you have to whine at every single little thing. It is tiresome. Disagree with what the manager is doing by all means, just try not to sound like a spoilt teenager whilst doing it.
What's tiresome is hearing of these 'whole host of reasons' why he might not play. It's not good enough; its vague and offers nothing. 'A whole host' also suggests that there's an absolute myriad of reasons. How many reasons can there be? Is the situation really that complex? The simple fact is that we need goals and he can score them. If Freedman can give me a whole host of reasons why he didn't get a minute today then I wouldn't accept them, not even if there were a hundred or a thousand reasons to accept. The lad scores three goals in two games against superior opposition and then cannot get a minute - it's perplexing and, as a fan, its deeply frustrating, particularly when the score is 0-0 and we need a winner. The frustration and bewilderment is further increased when two strikers are thrown on - and neither of them are Sordell. If my frustration and bewilderment spills out onto a forum and translates into the linguistic manifestation of a spoiled teenager then so be it. Commenting on a game rarely calls for eloquence when you're a fan and want to see your team get a goal. Passion brims over. Restraint can be ignored.

He's right it is a good point. Lots of fans not facing reality. We are a near the bottom of the championship side. A point away at a top four side is good. And something to build on after Sunderland.

I thought you said that facing reality was that anything short of promotion this season would be an utter and complete unmitigated disaster from which we would never recover?? you seem pretty cool with it now??

I agree, it is a good point...for another season in this rather than the lower leagues, but subbing late doesn't help my nerves. I do bear in mind the CP fan who came on here and said DF would be more defensive than attacking and we would have to be patient. I think, personally, I'd rather go shit or bust against teams we are allegedly not capable of beating. The only teams today not to score apart from ourselves and CP were Wolves, Sheff Wednesday, Bristol City, Milwall and Huddersfield, which, apart from Milwall and CP, says something about us. 8)
