Re: What are you eating and drinking tonight?
Part of our lads staple diet, which is extremely limited and has not changed one iota whilst he has been with us, and in fact, if anything, is now becoming even more restricted. He sees it as a badge of pride that he sticks to his principles regarding diet (and other stuff) and eats mainly beans and sausage, spaghetti and sausage, meatballs, Princess hot dog sausage, McDonalds and KFC. Doesn't mind fried chicken and will eat smash but not mash and roast potato's as long as they are plain, bacon and sausage as long as it is very cheap sausage, but nothing, and I mean nothing else! No bread, no veg, no fruit, not even pizza! A 16yr old who will not eat pizza! Been a constant battle with him over the last 14 months.General Mannerheim wrote:tremendous

Not horse !! Shirley, not horse.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Pesto on toast? Yuk.
BUT...
I do recommend....tomato puree on toast.
I do. In fact....even better, when making cheese on toast, spread tomatoe puree on the toast first, then put your grated cheese on and grill. It's like eating a pizza toast (as opposed to a piece of toast).

Right out of pasta, and rice, and pots, and butter.Bruce Rioja wrote:Lost Leopard Spot wrote:I'm very low on food. Just tried pesto on toast. Don't you: it's feckin' disgusting. No, I don't think I will.

I've got plenty of cheese (different sorts as well) and half a stale(ish) loaf, and apples, and oranges, and leeks, and some frozen peas, and milk. That's about it - there are other bits and pieces but nothing to make a meal with. I need to shop.

Home made corned beef.
Cold sliced, with roast potatoes & some brilliant piccalilli
As far away from a tin of Frey Bentos as tuna steak is from tinned tuna.
