Well I agree with BWFC_i. If that were a 7 year old kid not a 17 year old the world would be up in arms. But there's no difference, both are minors. The facts are that a grown man has attacked a child after only mild provocation.

Happily for once, everyone involved has used a bit of common sense and treated it in the manner it deserves but to be honest Hazard is lucky to be not facing charges for this.

i know - but I think it is interesting that some are queuing up to shout MURDER!! when the lad himself and his family and the club he was part of was quite happy to move on... and given that the lad appears to be a bit of a tool - then I'd imagine (though this, of course is pure speculation) that he might be quite capable of pressing the case were there actually anything to press... ie. had he actually been assaulted...

I've just watched the incident again. What makes this even better is that the ball boy wasn't actually doing anything wrong. He let the ball roll past him and bounce off the hoardings, then picks it up. As he's picking it up Hazard comes along and pushes him over.

here's summat to consider... sometimes referees get it wrong??

if the referee's decision is now proof positive that something happened or didn't happen - then post-football match analysis will be a very different thing in the future!

oh - yeah - and my MURDER (in capitals) was hyperbole for humourous effect. Thing is - your "attack" and BWFCi's "violent assault" were not hyperbole - were they - you actually mean that, don't you?
