Since we're unlikely to have any electricity supply to the cooker before Monday, tea was fish bites, ( our local chip shop batters and fries smaller pieces of fish and sells them in threes or fives as an alternative to a whole fish) chips and a large scallop. Not complaining as it was rather tasty.

Re: What are you eating and drinking tonight?
Today I cracked open an egg which was bad.
No sign whatsoever on the outside (I know you can float them in water etc., but who does tha as a norm). I've had eggs which when I opened them I didn't fancy the look, but never, ever, ever anything even remotely of this standard.
It was black inside .... & the smell overwhelmed the kitchen immediately. Revolting.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

No, just less of an appetite then I used to have and nothing to cook with. The electrician's coming tomorrow morning so hopefully all will be resolved.Bruce Rioja wrote:Have you fallen on hard times?TANGODANCER wrote:Since we're unlikely to have any electricity supply to the cooker before Monday, tea was fish bites, ( our local chip shop batters and fries smaller pieces of fish and sells them in threes or fives as an alternative to a whole fish) chips and a large scallop. You know, for a lot of us able to go it didn't feel ruined at all... If we could play like that in every game we'd win promotion.thebish wrote:after Bolton piss on yet another saturday - am tempted to lace the lasagne with powerful narcotics.

A bottle of Aldi's finest with the police chopper whirring above. It can only be another weekend in Liverpool. Cambalala Sauvignon Blanc today - surprisingly drinkable for £4.
