I'd like to see that. Maybe replace a striker on the bench with a winger.Tals-biggest-fan wrote:Bogdan

Sordell

this would be the 18 I'd pick, but we all know it'll be nothing like this...

Why won't this de Ridder chap be playing as he's only on loan for a month?TANGODANCER wrote:Medo, ie Kamara won't figure. Stick Holden on the bench and you might have it.Tals-biggest-fan wrote:Bogdan

Not sure if Knight, or Ream, will make way for Dawson.

He might be. We're all just guessing right now. If he's a decent winger Eagles and Chungy will have blinders tomorrow.Lost Leopard Spot wrote: Why won't this de Ridder chap be playing as he's only on loan for a month?

And he's worth the signing for that alone!TANGODANCER wrote:He might be. We're all just guessing right now. If he's a decent winger Eagles and Chungy will have blinders tomorrow.Lost Leopard Spot wrote: Why won't this de Ridder chap be playing as he's only on loan for a month?

I'd be surprised to see any of the new boys starting too, so yeah reckon we might see:
Boggers
Ricketts Knight Ream Alonso
Vela Spearing
Chungy Pratley Eagles
Sordell
....I do though reckon there's a chance he'll start SKD, try to have us settle in to the game & bring Sordell on for the last 25-30 minutes. He might not take to the circumstances immediately.
I also reckon we might be seeing some further exploration of N'Gog as a wide player in coming matches, because of our shortage there & competition when we're playing just one up top. I'm not sure I'd be too pleased to see him there though, other than the fact it could potentially bring Eagles into the whole & take Pratley off the pitch (win!)

Sordell against his old team and given his recent form would have me starting him. Bet he doesn't even feature at all though.

Really?! You can't seriously think he'll not feature at all, surely!?CrazyHorse wrote:Sordell against his old team and given his recent form would have me starting him. Bet he doesn't even feature at all though.

I HOPE he does, but, hell yes, I can imagine him not getting on the pitch.Dartisan wrote:eally?! You can't seriously think he'll not feature at all, surely!?CrazyHorse wrote:Sordell against his old team and given his recent form would have me starting him. Bet he doesn't even feature at all though.

Re: Watford away
As in: "I can imagine my panel of interviewers naked"? I can't see a single reason to seriously consider it at all likely that Freedman wont put Sordell on the pitch for part of the match, given the fixture & given his starting to find goal-scoring form... other than his perhaps suffering an injury before the match.bobo the clown wrote:I HOPE he does, but, hell yes, I can imagine him not getting on the pitch.Dartisan wrote:eally?! ..well, your prerogative. I certainly won't be betting on it though!

Re: Watford away
The circumstances of turning up at the club he played for for so long, with a likely blend of applause & boo's for him. Lets face it if he was unsettled by being on Twitter a lot & moving up our way he might be a sensitive soul of a nervous disposition!Jugs wrote:Which circumstances?Dartisan wrote:TANGODANCER wrote:....I do though reckon there's a chance he'll start SKD, try to have us settle in to the game & bring Sordell on for the last 25-30 minutes. I thought he looked comfortable in front of the Millwall fans, when he's started of late he seems focused.

Gregg Wylde has tweeted that he's arrived in London for tomorrow's game. Interesting....

I don't get the impression that people and events faze him.. I think he's got the perfect water off a ducks back attitude of "who gives a fvck if they don't like me"Dartisan wrote:The circumstances of turning up at the club he played for for so long, with a likely blend of applause & boo's for him. Re: Watford away
I read a quote on here attributed to a Bury fan, that had Greg Wylde as 'fast(ish), direct, but idle.' Put me in mind of John Robertson.
Well we can all dream!

indeed - s'what I'd have asked if you hadn't asked it... If we only have him for a month and don't play him for the first game - that's 25% of his games gone straight off!Lost Leopard Spot wrote:Why won't this de Ridder chap be playing as he's only on loan for a month?TANGODANCER wrote:Medo, ie Kamara won't figure.
