What are you eating and drinking tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

Just taken the last of the 'Bol' out the freezer, made to BWFC-I's most excellent recipe. So that's later on very easily sorted out, with pasta, garlic bread, Parmesan and Merlot. :D

Made a proper 'man vs food' burger last night...massive bun, burger, lettuce, tomato, cheese, bacon, another burger, more bacon, cheese, fried egg on top :p

Broke my jaw trying to fit it in my mouth but totally worth it...

London folk: you ever been to Meat Liquor up behind Debenhams off Oxford St? Somebody told me how good it was so i checked the menu n’that, looked decent enough and pretty cheap tbf, so arranged to go there last night. Got there, they were queuing round the frickin block to get in!!!? Queuing for a kickoff but it was pigging freezing n’all? We asked the doorman and this was pretty standard every night, queue for an hour outside and another 20 mins inside (then presumably wolf your burger down as fast as poss to let the next punters in?) we sacked it. looking again this morning they have other sites in Hoxton and Covent Garden, Meat Mission & Meat Market i think. Will have a butchers at the Hoxton one next week. No way im queuing tho... why so popular?

It's the latest fad apparently, no reservation restaurants. Feck knows what kind of bellend would queue around the block for that. Probably the type of folk who would queue around the block for it and so they can say to Tarquin next week that it was soooooo worth it.

See also: no choice menus. How about you just f*ck off being a pretentious tw*t and tell me what's available, then?

Theres abother one round the corner called 'Patty & Bun' which is apparently a similar set-up, and has similar queues! im intrigued tho, and keen to visit! so fair play to whoever came up with the idea. i also read that they dish out free beers to the queuers? might not be so bad in the summer! but you wont catch me queueing outside one, i wouldnt want to give them the satisfaction!

Hmmm, see, I work on the theory that if you're somewhere where you're expected to queue, and there isn't a queue, then it must be shoite!

General. Have you tried Navarros on Charlotte St? Was always great food and reasonably priced. The house red is good and the sangria even better. Sangria wasn't on the menu, so you had to ask for it. The lamb with poor mans potatoes is amazing. Food comes as it is ready, so it is a steady stream of food.
