Kamara played and is apparently in contention for Saturday.
Re: Holden Back For Wears.
Apparently Kamara didn't play after all. He was training so perhaps he isn't fit enough at the moment.Annoyed Grunt wrote:http://www.bwfc.co.uk/news/article/hold ... 41113.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;malcd1 wrote:'Someone' on Twitter said Stu played 90 minutes in a behind closed doors match today. I would think he did not play because DF feels he is already at the level needed for Saturday.malcd1 wrote:Apparently Kamara didn't play after all. He hasn't played for 8 weeks
Nowt we've seen so far from DF would suggest Medo is likely to play

Keeping up the pattern of recruiting unfit players.CAPSLOCK wrote:He hasn't played for 8 weeks

Way to go.
(I am quite enthused about this guy, tbh, but this is an extraordinary situation we are in at the mo.)
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

At least it's an improvement on Coyle's habit of recruiting fit players and allowing them to get unfit.
Re: Holden Back For Wears.
Haha! I don't think he's unfit, just not game sharp. Chuck him in I say, he'll soon sharpen up. I think he might on Sat, DF suggested he was briefly under consideration for Watford.Sponge wrote:bobo the clown wrote:Keeping up the pattern of recruiting unfit players.CAPSLOCK wrote:He hasn't played for 8 weeks

I don't believe it is - I think it's some other Kamara (Chris Kamara?), not Medo Kamara.Bruno3 wrote:Go on then - I don't mind appearing to be stupid - that can't really be him can it?

Re: Holden Back For Wears.
I don't think he is recruitng unfit players...just players who don't meet his own fitness standards. Kamara is slightly different cos he had been 'frozen out' of his previous club and not played? Therefore understand him taking time to get into it. What I can't comprehend is Craig Davies was signed early in Jan and he has had 10 mins from the bench? Dawson hasn't played at all...I'll be fecking seething if the same old tried and proven shite turn out this weekend and his signings are benched. We need a lift and some different faces and a different mentality.

Thank f*ck for that - I didn't think it could have been him but, having seen Mario Lardel, I wasn't surethebish wrote:Bruno3 wrote:Go on then - I don't mind appearing to be stupid - that can't really be him can it?no! just my little joke! Re: Holden Back For Wears.
I saw a Jimi Hendrix tribute band at The Moses Gate and the singer looked exactly like Chris Kamara. not entirely relevant but thought I'd share.

Re: Holden Back For Wears.
If I saw a lookalike for Chris Kamara as the lead singer/guitarist in a tribute band, well then, I wouldn't immediately think I was watching A Jimi Hendrix Inexperience, oh no, I'd assume I was watching Thick Lizzy.LeverEnd wrote:I saw a Jimi Hendrix tribute band at The Moses Gate and the singer looked exactly like Chris Kamara. not entirely relevant but thought I'd share.
