Coyle set for Blackpool!!
Earlier today i spotted Coyle heading out of hotel at Broughton near Preston an was heading onto the M55 towards Blackpool!! It has been confirmed on the Blackpool gazzette website that the club and Coyle had talks yesterday!! Think he may be heading to the ground for press conference to reveal the news......
Oh well watch this space hey (Basham may not be too happy) Eagles/Mears to follow suit Maybe...

Re: Coyle set for Blackpool!!
Coyle was reportedly offered the job prior to Appleton and turned it down because of the Blackpool chairman being an arse. Would be surprised if this is true. Should be in the "other footy" section really.

Blackpool are in danger of missing out on another managerial target after leaving Owen Coyle unimpressed with the personal terms on offer and indicating he would not be able to bring in his own backroom staff.

Re: Coyle set for Blackpool!!
Apparently he's not allowed to bring in his own backroom staff (Oyston has the right idea there) and thinks he's worth more than £200k a year. Not at the moment chum.

I never understand why the 'Where are they now' posts aren't in Other Footy if these sort are.

The Marriot? Very nice indeed. Does Paul Stewart still have that bar in Poulton? Oh, welcome along, too.Poulton-white wrote:Earlier today i spotted Coyle heading out of hotel at Broughton near Preston

£200k, or £4k a week. After what we probably paid him will be a bit like "welcome ti the real World" (tho only "real" in a football World sense).LeverEnd wrote:Apparently he's not allowed to bring in his own backroom staff (Oyston has the right idea there) and thinks he's worth more than £200k a year. But I'd LOVE to have heard the wording to a "you want to bring Steve Davis ? Really ? ... as your defensive guru ? ... with THAT record ?" ...... "& who the hell is that fat fck in the car park ?"
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Owen Coyle is Emmet ‘Doc’ O’Connel, a character in City Of Gangsters computer game. Coyle doesn't have a passing resemblance he is Emmet.
I would post a photo if I could.

well, the punctutation mark is incorrect if you were asking a -[?]- question...
if you were surprised at my reply, theres a roundabout theory on theinternets that , i think, shaun 'over egg other clubs transfer fees to make defeat seem better' dyche going to birmingham and lee clark going back to huddersfield, and thedick back at burnley.
well, the complete roundabout had more moves in (blackpool too), but those three affect this burnley coyle theory.
