Very good win. Not sure we would cope so well in hotter climates in the World Cup. We have been Spain and Brazil in the last 12 months which isn't bad going!

Jack Wilshire really looks the finished article; great game. These fellas know all the tricks on the ball and off it. Quite a few back-ins and shove in the backs evident. We did really well and showed pace, effort and determination. Best England display for a fair while. Well done.

Re: Tonight's Football
Thought both teams looked a bit disjointed and I'm not sure Brazil got out of second gear. Not even sure England did. Some good football on display and some good individual performances. Wilshere, Cahill (apart from the goal) and Walcott (who grew into it) all looked good. Credit to Glen Johnson for keeping Neymar quiet.... Don't be fooled by his lack of a performance tonight though, the lad is magnificent.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

The whole tournament has been an atrocious standard. It's worse than the conference.

Re: Tonight's Football
Apart from J-Lloyd I've never seen a more obvious example of a big club penalty than that. Even Suarez's earned and deserved reputation didn't prevent it being given!
