Re: Tonight's Football
Thing with Celtic - they're fans were all upset, but what did it matter?
They had zero chance of winning the thing, zero.
They got to the knockouts which was a superb achievement out of that group.
So in effect they'd already won "their competition".
As Bruce said they've done well for a pub side, back to reality now though.
One thing though - their fans do create one heck of an atomosphere. ITV always fawn over Anfield on those "special nights" *vomit*. But them Celtic fans really do know how to do it.
Send Garty up there to get some tips I say!

hmmm... first off - they did not have zero chance of winning the thing - I think you must appreciate that.
second... I don't think it's mad or stupid or unbelievable for fans to be upset at losing a game - ANY game.
Re: Tonight's Football
To be fair the "pub side" beat Barca at home and lost at Barca to a 94th minute winner.
So.. what do people think will be the outcome of tonight's game between manure and Madrid?
I think Madrid will maul them and score 3 or 4.
Nice to hear Jose today saying his next job will be in England.
See you next season then!

No, it's entirely natural. I wasn't suggesting otherwise. Just that in the cold light of day success for them, was getting through the group.thebish wrote:BWFC_Insane wrote:Thing with Celtic - they're fans were all upset, but what did it matter?

I think it takes quite a vivid imagination to see them winning it, given the two legged nature of the ties. So they had a good run.
Clearly I get their fans being upset.

I'm sure we'd make some noise playing Juve at home in the CL, surely?!BWFC_Insane wrote:Thing with Celtic - they're fans were all upset, but what did it matter?

Best Reebok atmosphere? I'm going for Ipsh*t when Bobic scored a quick hat-trick, sadly that was over a decade ago.

Nooo, we had to endure 'Just can't get enough' for too long thanks to Coyle!

If I wanted to watch a stream of Real v Utd tonight, where would I go looking for such a thing?

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
