There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

As good a header as you will see that.

Ronaldo is just brilliant in the air.

He may well be brilliant in the air, but unlike Gary Filthy Red Neville I do not believe he can defy the laws of gravity. He was almost having an orgasm as he sprouted bullshit: "It's the way he haaaaaaangs. He hangs in the air!"
er no. No he doesn't.

Awww, but to be fair for a filthy red, Gary Neville is a decent pundit.

I don't mind him. So long as someone doesn't irk me by suggesting he'd be a good manager, based solely on him standing in front of a screen pointing and talking!

Decent pundit but shit commentator :hang: My other half can deal with me having football on, but as soon as Jeff or whoever says over to a commentary team of bla bla bla and Gary Neville she is off like a shot

Aye I suppose young Neville is a decent pundit all in all. Souness and Hoddle must be the worst two pundits on TV and when you get both on the punditry sofa... beejissus it's hard going, I don't know how I make it alive through half time.

Hansen and Lawrenson must rank as some of the worst.

And Chris Waddle.

Feck me I think Waddle wins the award for the worst.

I forgot about Waddle. Ta da, the worst pairing therefore is Hoddle and Waddle. Didn't them two play together as well? or am I just dreaming that?

Jesus.. The irony of it...

United fans at work, moaning about not getting the rub of the green from the ref.

John Barnes. He was a worse pundit than he was a manager. Which is saying something. Never, ever, ever looked at ease.

Then there's Robbie "I can shout louder than you AND I'm rich AND I have control of the off-button" Savage.

Not to mention Jim Beglin .... so I didn't mention him !

These lot make Steve Claridge seem competent .... which he isn't.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Best hang-in-the-air headers of a ball I ever saw were Denis Law and Klinsman.

What about David Cross? He was like a Salmon!

I didn't know where else to put this but can I just say how glad I am that City aren't going to win anything this year?

To me the true mark of a champion is to either a) defend your title or b) having lost it come back and take it back from the impudent upstarts that took it from you.

They only beat United by a gnat's whisker last year (they'll say 'that's all we had to do') but they flopped in Europe and this season Mancini's been shown for the fraud he is with another Euro-Shambles and a league campaign that shows no matter how many £££'s you spend on transfers and wages there's no substitute for team spirit.

Everything bad that happens to that club makes me happy.
I'm not asking you to 'think outside the box' I just wish you'd have a rummage around in it once in a while.
