or

There is more resiliance. There seems to be more spirit.

He just now needs to be starting a game like he expects to win it.

... & stop letting Emma Davies pick the starting XI !

We can't go fullspeed for 90 mins. Do we go for it out of the blocks and hang on for 70+ mins, or do we keep it tight and bring fresh legs on against tired defenders in the second half?

Why change it if you are in the game... Or are you in the "with this squad in this league we should be hammering @@@ insert team name here @@@@" delusional section?

I'd have had a draw at 3 o'clock if offered, so would DF I suspect, upwards and onwards..

hmmmm.... except that dougie said this week that with the quality we have and players coming back into the squad, there was no reason why we shouldn't win all of our next 8 games... and he then said that promotion is not out of the question...

No shots in the first half has to be an eye opener for Dougie. Changes need to be made up front for Tuesday. Also, will be eager to see who will be fit come Tuesday.

Not now it looks like we have someone upfront who can score.

But it won't be will it?

Just on coach back to Bolton so sorry if this is all bit rushed. Once again the Ngog/Cravies partnership stole the show, finally it seems we have a real strike partnership who have both a understanding and complement each others styles. After we scored it looked like Ngog dropped back a little to the right wing but we held solid for a well earned draw.

Whilst the first hour had little to get the fans going upfront we finally have a settled back five (Bogdan was sensational and actually dominated the box well towards the end) and the spine of the side worked hard with Pratley really working hard in the middle and playing solid if a tad un inspired.

Different striker(s) for Derby and perhaps a little tinkering on the wings and we'll be a force to be reckoned with. No longer do we look like a sinking ship but we still lack that cutting edge and spark upfront that will see us well in the division

on the plus side, sounds like Bogdan had a blinder. that'll give him a much needed confidence boost.

Im looking forward to Tuesday, as i reckon it'll be a different team, with DF on about squad rotation.

It could of been worse, we could of lost

Just seen the goals, nive play for Ngog and finish from Cdavies. Alonso though, Jesus. It's pretty embarrassing when you have to haul down a fat lad like Reid when he skinning you down the wing. Good volley by him though.

Exactly. It's not a sign of managerial ability to put out a mess of a team for 60 minutes, go 1-0 down and then make good changes. A good tactician would get the team playing well from the start, not change things when you're down with the clock ticking.
So we moaned our way through 12 months of a bloke who couldn't change the game from the touch line, now we don't like a bloke who can, Skd was and probably is our best 4-5-1 option in DF view , he tried Sordell last week and it didn't work! Cravies excelled,as one of a pair and has again today, ...
In the words of Gary Barlow " a little patience"
I'll be happy when we have a manager who starts well and if things go wrong, can adapt  I don't want a manager who makes us sit through 60 minutes of shite before making good changes because that's never going to be a winning formula.
Yes.

And I don't believe that SKD is our best option in a 451. Can he hold the ball up? Maybe. But he can't finish. And that's important. Cravies is strong, fast and can finish. He's the natural player to go on and displace Davies. This must happen now.

From the sound of it all we were up against a side playing well, keeping much more control in midfield and also attacking well, plus being at home. The forwards didn't seem to get ther much and in retrospect, Dougie probably had it right in letting KD take the brunt of the scarce forward stuff and stay strong in defence. In that, it worked well enough till Reid's shot. Once we were behind he had to change it, but not enough to be even weaker in defence. It didn't sound like we had too much of the play even till CD scored. Could have been worse.

The forward movement was scarce BECAUSE of Kevin Davies, not in spite of it. Not once did he drop back abd look for the ball, or get stuck in with the defence. The man used to be my hero during my early teens but I can't say a single good word about him today. In retrospect had we started with any other striker upfront we could have deservedly won today, can't agree that Dougie was right in this respect at all.

Can't argue. You were there, I wasn't. Have to say about the bit in bold, the commentary sure didn't indicate that at all. As I said, you were there.

Does this mean Craig Davies is the new Michael Ricketts?

Great point away from home. Forest were always going to be up for the game today with Billy Davies back in the building and this being his first game.
