N'gog finds Eagles and then we get a free thirty yards out. Spearing takes from wide and...it's a bad one that's cleared. Eagles reclaims it and has a shot charged down. Derby try again and Knight gets the plaudits for a good clearance. Derby send a bad one forward and it's a goal kick. No high excitement just yet. Derby again and to no effect. Craig Davies handles and the free kick from us becomes one for them. Pratley tackled on the box edge before he can get shot in. Derby still pushing and keeping possesion before Bogdan comes out to claim it. A Derby man down and Pratley put the ball out.

Bit of a social club, drinks and chats, going on, as the Derby player hobbles off. Player back on and Sordell warms up. Rickets throw headed clear as Dawson goes down injured off the ball. More stoppage time and....Wheater is trotting on the sidelines now. Freeman off for Davies and Dawson seems okay as play resumes.

We could bring Kevin Davies on to even it up.

Bit of decent passing ensues before Spearing wins a corner from a deflection. Bolton showed a bit of life there before the ball goes out for a throw. Craig Davies wins a free and Spearing takes it from wide. Chungy can't control and the keeper gathers it. Another quick free kick and then Derby reclaim. They come forward and a header goes wide of the post that should have been better..apparently. Whites break and we get anoher corner...In and....ref breaks up some handbags...the ref gives a free against us as a Deby player handles a second later.
Derby still interested and they get a cross that results in a shot wide. All seems very fifty-fifty so far and an attack by us is cleared as the commentator claims Derby are running out of ideas. Ward and Salmon between them force a corner that becomes a goal kick.

N'gog and Davies lead up to a shot by N'gog then the ball gets whacked forward and Knight let it bounce then got away from an appeal by the Derby fans. Derby trying again and Ward has one tipped over. Corner...that Bogdan claims it and a scrappy patch sees them here again in our half. Mears getting "dogs abuse" from the homers. Tone of the commentators voice is a bit "Vicar's tea-party" till Craig Davies does a bit of wrestling. A Derby shot sails high over. Looks a bit like the Forest plan of containing is in action. Four added minutes announced. Sam Ricketts get forward to win a free kick in a tasty position. Spearing agin......1-0 Craig Dawson strikies again....this time for real.... :oyea:

Bogdan whacks a Derby attack downfield then it ends up back with him as Nigel "berates the ref" Craig D does another KD and gives away a free. Header from the kick goes behind for a goal kick as the seconds tick part one away. 1-0 the Superwhites as the whistle goes.

Yep, surely we can see this through now we have the goal, against a team with an entire back four out of position or young lads.....

Nottingham Forest are winning 4-1 and its only just gone half time. Surely that's gotta give Freedman a bit more credit.
