Re: Derby away
We really need to get a grip and score as another soft late goal goes in. Eagles breaks and can't believe he doesn't get the free kick. We get a corner and the ball's in the net as Sordell is given offside. Eagles makes way for Mark Davies for a last throw. Long ball, whatever, get it in the box and in the net. Derby want a winner as Bogdan has to save well. Big penalty appeal against Pratley gets turned down. Mark Davies gives the ball way and the ref gets the boos for giving Derby a free instead of playing the advantage. Twenty five out and.....goal kick. Three to go...still time as Robinson gets blown offside. Mark Davies feeds Sordell instead of having a go, then Zat Knight kicks the ball away and gets booked. Bogdan whacks it forward as the fourth offical shows four minutes. COME ON YOU WHITES....

Re: Derby away
Trouble is we weren't exactly going for it when we had Craig Davies and David N'Gog on. The subs in the last few matches meant that Bolton went on the attack. If we would've started with the impetus of attacking maybe we would've seen this match out already. It just seems that we were overly happy to sit on the 1-0.CrazyHorse wrote:Sounds like we're still going for it though. Come on...

We had a 3 on 3 break shortly before they scored and wasted it according to the commentary. It's things like that which cost you.Mar wrote:Trouble is we weren't exactly going for it when we had Craig Davies and David N'Gog on. We were setup to win it and see it out, but were wasteful and the usual obligatory mistake at the back costs us.

Derby
22 - 8 on target
Bolton
10 - 5 on target
Looks like we haven't done enough to deserve a win

Re: Derby away
Late corner us gets cleared before Chungy gets fouled for a free kick. Has to be bodies in the box then Derby players attack the ref for Davo charging the ball down. Long throw and some frantic box action gets scrambled away as the ref checks his alarm clock.

Re: Derby away
It was the same story in the past couple of games, with us wanting to sit on a clean sheet but when we attack, we are far better. Why not attack more and play to our strengths?Mar wrote:Trouble is we weren't exactly going for it when we had Craig Davies and David N'Gog on. Freedman has got it wrong, yet again.
Re: Derby away
Before kick off I'd have taken a point away from home. Shame we conceeded a soft goal, but its still a valuable point. We need three on Saturday now.

" Kevin Davies has played very well" says the man as the hooter ends it at 1-1.

Face it, we had breaks to kill the game off,
And according to Phil Brown were set up 'perfectly'.
But we make individual mistakes.
We simply aren't playing well enough to go and dominate away from home so we have to try and keep it tight.
We'd set it up perfectly but again an individual mistake costs us.
