We do now need to get behind them. We are in a battle to stay up again. Things are not going for us and it would be easy to let the frustration suck us down.

Mustn't let that happen, 14 very very big games ahead.

not sure if it's a mentality thing or just plain bad defensive play but it's frustrating.
We'd have been in the automatic promotion spots. I think this shows a lack of mental strength, combined with poor tactics. Coyle was far too attacking, Freedman is too happy to sit back, and neither has worked. Why can't we apply steady pressure or control the game, rather than relying on last gasp challenges or going gung ho?

Very frustrating.

Coyle was too attacking? You blame Freedman for not attacking too much? Which is it to be?

Just inbetween? Not too little not too much? Just enough?

We did control the game in parts. They scored due to an error from one man. They got their backs up and went for it as expected. The 2nd goal was vital and Freedman saw this and freshened the guys up top.

Its mentality. You look at the Blackburn "mess" and how well they are doing comparatively, and you realise we must have some serious squad harmony issues..

I'd bet the dressing room needs to swing a bit away from power players...and we lack a type of player...a leader..Maybe Wheater and Holden will provide some backbone.

a point away from home, better than no points i suppose.

According to a few comments we're looking more solid which is good.

im interested in seeing who DF brings to the club in summer, it seems to me he has a style and i dont think the current squad fit into his plan. Who knows, a reduced wage bill might bring in some new young and hungry players and maybe push for promotion next season, i think personally its not going to happen this season, but a good sprint finish would please me.

Thanks for the commentary again TD

We are four points away from relegation...

We need some victories very, very soon. Have we managed two consecutively all season in the league?

We arent getting relegated, Huddersfield just conceded 6 where we drew at the weekend and Blackpool have just appointed Paul Ince, there are teams around us with much bigger problems.

Genuinely LOL when I read rubbish about us going down. Throw all the cliches, 'domed', re-reading the league table out via a post, PPG, Coyle Vs. Freedman... etc... We ain't going down!

I have confidence in Dougie and I'm optimistic about the clubs future with him at the helm!

Its like people either view us as a team that should be pushing for a late grab at the play offs or a team desperately treading water over the relegation zone. We're not, we're an average mid table side with average form and we will finish in a very average position.

I am enthusiastic about Duggie’s management and I think that he is making some good changes.

However lets not be blasé about where we are, relegation at the present is a possibility.

This season is about staying up, I think a summer of clearing out and new signings and we will have a good season next year

Derby had an average age of 23 an completely dominated the match. But for Bogdan we would have lost 3 or 4-1. Going forward our midfield was non existant. Spearing did not find a Bolton player all night ad Eagles ran up blind alleys.
Total lack of creativity throughout. I don't think we sat back, I just think they had more skill and energy than us. Not sure why we are so useless but there it is.

Were you there, mate? I wasn't, so I can't comment too much on this match bar the result, but that seems to be a different perspective. Considering we've been appallingly bad recently, this sounds more in tune with our recent form.

Not to mention 'Arry spunking the GDP of several small countries on players. That does make it a bit easier to just be enthusastic and not worry about tactics much.

Yes I was. I am Midlands based and the last away game I saw was Wolves when we wer impressive with JP in charge. It seems we have gone backwards with DP. Its no good playing a passing game if we can't pass. The main hope is for Mavies and Holden to return. On the plus side the midfield chased back well after giving the ball away and Ngog and Cravies looked good up front early on

26 points apparently?
2 points behind Cardiff?
assume 26 pts is the total we've dropped from winning positions.

as i said, even if its just half of that, as i don't expect to hold onto them all the time, that would be 13 pts. puts us 6th.

become the story of our season really.

I aws there, and this is a very accurate summary of the second half at least. Spearing did give the ball away a lot, Eagles did nothing useful and a combination of derby's poor finishing and Bogdan's excellent goalkeeping gave us a draw we didn't deserve.
First half we contained them, I was very positive about the attacking line-up but we offered nothing up front. Seems we have a load of strikers who can only play as subs, davies was out best attacker when he came on. Sordell was a waste of space.

Roll on division 1 next year, sadly we'll perform like a set f w*nkers in that league too.

A number of those players are stealing a living, if people are moaning about booing now they'll hate it in a few games time, when it's a full-blown dogfight and we perform like a bunch of amateurs in front of an angry crowd.....
Troll and proud of it.
