Re: Derby away
I was there. A few thoughts:
—Really proud of the fans: out-sung the 21,500 Derby fans for the entire night.
—I don't know how the people who watch games live manage to make such in-depth judgements – for most the match I didn't even know who had the ball (and it took me 30 minutes to find Craig Davies).
—Despite that, my impression of the players:
Bogan: Did well. Very orange.
Ricketts: Looked a bit rubbish
Dawson: By far the classiest player on the pitch.
Mears: OK.
Chungy: Tried hard but looked a shadow of the player we knew before his injury.
Spearing: Ran a lot.
Pratley: I thought he did really well.
Eagles: Useless. It's clear he's low in confidence. He's thinking too much and nothing's coming off.
Craig Davies: Ran a lot, tried hard, did okay.
N'gog: OK.
All in all, it was a crap game and the standard of football was shite. A draw was probably fair, though all things considered I'd say we looked the better team.
And LLS, I think we must have been sitting near to one another. I was the really handsome one.

PS
...and Bogdan was way beyond orange! Every time I blink I've still got a flourescent green negative image of a goalkeeper imprinted on my retinas days later.
