Wars of the Roses, part II......Off we go.

Pratley lashes one wide..to signal intent..? and it won't be a repeat start obviously. Spearing gives away a free kick for a foul and....then Alonso gives one away on the box edge. Not happy about it aparently...Loud roars of approval from the homers as it sails over. Another free kick Hull and "we need to step things up a bit" is the cry. Brady's good cross headed just over.

BL3 will be inconsolable if we win 3-0 or score even more.

Alonso takes a bad tackle and Naylor? gets a yellow. A quick attack from us just breaks down as Hull gear it up. Shot from distance goes well over, but they're getting them. Defence "messing about at the back a bit", come on lads, get it gripped again. Knight clears and Pratley gets forward, Davies, Sordell, Chungy, Davies, Pratley..and it's cleared from Ricketts.

If we don't push on and win by 5 or 6, Dougie will still get grief from some because we "should have put them to the sword" or something of the like.
IMO, job done. defend the 3-0
And Dougie won't get grief for the match finishing 3-0. :conf:
no doubt he'll get some grief whatever the score
i think that's unlikely... can't we just enjoy the win without pre-emptive strikes? :pissed:
Im loving the win, bit of a strange feeling tbh.

I wasnt meaning to make "pre-emptive strikes" i was replying to a comment, apologies if it came across wrong :spank:

Sordell not too comfortable with it, according to Dearden and Brown, went off looking livid. Manager had words with him.

17,6555 crowd announced as Ricketts gives away a corner, cleared but a return header goes low and wide. Have to expect them to play I suppose (grudgingly) becuse they are " a good side"...Craig Davies just offside after a quick attack. Knight heads to Bogdan and we clear again. N'gog a bit unlucky as Hull look to change. New lad on?

Forget the points. We might actually finish the day with a positive goal differential....

Bothers me though that a player can never see a substitution as a change for the good of the team and not a personal slight.

Ah well. Least they're hungry. No striker wants to be subbed when the shooting boots are on.

Dawson bad tackle, in retaliation for a foul on Chungy. Yellow card, lucky not red.

BBC stats say they have had MORE shots than us (6 to 5) but we have had 3 on target to their 1...
