Away, Barnsley.

Away, Barnsley.
It is a bit early but I got my tickets through the post so felt I should start the thread. Barnsley said I would have to pick up the tickets from the Bok as they have a no reissuing of tickets policy if they are lost/stolen, this would be a problem for me as I live down south and so eventually convinced them to send me the tickets by post as I lived in Berkshire. When the tickets arrived I found that they do not have a row or a block on them just the seat number (1)and the words unreserved seating in bold. It is clear that either Barnsley are not expecting many Boltonians to make the trip to south Yorkshire or that Barnsley football club just generally have a low cost operation in place when it comes to ticket sales. Nonetheless I am thouroughly looking forward to the game and see it as a great oppurtunity to win an away game and begin our late assault on the play offs. Come on whites!

I've asked them to post mine out too as I'll end up losing them at the game tonight.
I wonder how many are making the short trip across the Penines?

Haha! God herself. It'll probably be more than a minute stuck in a traffic jam when she's already late.CAPSLOCK wrote:Alanis will be along in a minuteSponge wrote:bwfcdan94 wrote:It is a bit early but I got my tickets through the post so felt I should start the thread. Local game for me too. Been looking forward to it for a while... even before we started winning. Got tickets, got train tickets and been looking up stuff on teh interwebs. Glad to see the away end is covered now, and the train timetable looks better than I remember it being last time I was there. It's going to be a huge disappointment but I'm enjoying the run-up.

There was no ticket allocation at Huddersfield either, probably not that unusual.bwfcdan94 wrote:Thank You, will be in Barnsley at 1.10 if anyone wants to meet up before the game. Last time I went to Oakwell we stopped off at a little pub on the route back to the station. I wouldn't take a lady there, if it's still around. The Dove Inn sounds like the best bet from this website... http://www.footballgroundguide.com/barnsley/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I'm probably going to try getting down there for a swiftish one.

Re: Away, Barnsley.
Just bought tickets for this.
Re: Away, Barnsley.
Away end holds over 6k that's why it's unreserved. Its like this for every visiting team. We'll have no problems getting in. Sold just over 1400 so far.
