Remember looking up how much it'd be to Norwich last season and it was more than going to London at the time (I forget, £60+).
while we are all moaning at about how expensive everything is down here, tickets for Charlton away will start at £30, yep that is right newly promoted Charlton will charge us £30 to visit south west London. willl be the most expensive ticket I buy this season.

My mistake I could not remember if it was east of west.Abdoulaye's Twin wrote:South eastbwfcdan94 wrote:Yep, they take the p**s down here when it comes to trains, it costs me more to go to school (1 stop, 3 mins on train) then it costs to go from Piccadilly to Horwich (which takes 30 mins and is 4 stops).Armchair Wanderer wrote:Seems to be cheap trains around Yorkshire too. Have you ever been to Charlton, Dan? Not taking this p*ss, but they scream about being "SOUUUTH-EEEEEAST LONDONNNNN!!!" over the Tannoy pre-match. And I'm sure I once saw "SE7 SOUTH-EAST LONDON" in graffiti on the away end floor. Just in case you were lost.
Anyway, £30 is a painful amount, the jumped-up shitehawks.

Yeah, but they did allow more of our fans to see the final Burnden game. Quite nice of them I thought. The result was great tooDave Sutton's barnet wrote:Have you ever been to Charlton, Dan? Oh, I tend to like Charlton fans. And Palace fans. Not that they like each other.Abdoulaye's Twin wrote:Yeah, but they did allow more of our fans to see the final Burnden game. Charlton is my favourite away trip.
Can't do it this year sadly, but it is belting!

I've only been once before but I loved it! One of my faves, even though we lost to fecking Iain Dowie! £30 is taking the piss though!

Was that when we missed about 19 gilt edge chances, went 1-0 eventually up and still managed to lose?Prufrock wrote:I've only been once before but I loved it! One of my faves, even though we lost to fecking Iain Dowie! £30 is taking the piss though!
Anelka sat on the bench (cos he had signed the day before) watching Stelios, Diouf and Davies give an exemplary performance in how to be wasteful.........
Re: Away, Barnsley.
No, I was on holiday for that. No real news about, but we managed to find somewhere showing Match of the Day. I asked my dad if he knew who that bloke sat on the bench, who was the spitting image of Anelka, was! Thought it was a coach, coz we couldn't have actually signed Anelka!
The one I'm on about was in the League Cup later that season. We missed about 10 gilt edged chances and should have won, but lost 1-0 with, I think, Marcus fricking Bent scoring the winner. Half of all the games Dowie won as a manager for Charlton were against us!

You clearly missed my table in the dove!Lost Leopard Spot wrote:Do you mean, where I was drinking. Were you wearing elephant shorts or a lapel pin? No, you were not. I only made my 'introductions' once, it was far too embarassing to try that a second time.

That's not a leopard!

I was presuming that Charlton were considering us a s a catogry A game, clearly that is not the case.Annoyed Grunt wrote:£25bwfcdan94 wrote:Yep, they take the p**s down here when it comes to trains, it costs me more to go to school (1 stop, 3 mins on train) then it costs to go from Piccadilly to Horwich (which takes 30 mins and is 4 stops).Armchair Wanderer wrote:Seems to be cheap trains around Yorkshire too.
