What was the goal like? Sounded on here like we were knocking on the door as it were.

His celebration was brilliant. He ran down all the east stand to celebrate in front of the Blackburn fans. Brilliant. :-)

Took control on the edge dropped a shoulder and it rolled into the bottom corner.

Look, I've said it before and I'll say it again. We have no chance of reaching the play-offs.

So why am I looking at the table and thinking "come on!!!"? :pissed:

I couldn't make it tonight. Was gutted to miss it. Now I hear we won, I'm elated, but oddly even more gutted.

Highlights, anyone?

We had been but to be fair they'd looked pretty dangerous late on too. The number of free kicks we gave away on the edge of our box today - stone me.

Any road as I remember it - ball up to Cravies & Eagles, Eagles pushed it wide of the centre half and not a particulalry hard shot into the corner, that took about 10 minutes to roll in. Cue feckin pandemonium :pissed:

I must say, a few weeks ago I couldn't believe folk even thought it possible. I still think it is a long shot, and Brighton is the first of quite a few 'must wins', but deary me. We all know it ends with a last minute Blackpool goal (perhaps from Chris Basham) meaning we miss out on goal difference). That or getting bummed by Palace in the final.

I was asked at half time what I thought...I said a scrappy one niller, could go either way.

OMG never been as happy to see a goal go in!

Eagles' celebration was amazing.

Oh, and the ref was definitely from Dingle town.

A rather bizarre incident in the North stand lower tonight. Regular retard there who brings his kids with him and then f's and blinds all through the game calling all our players dog 5hit. He was as bad as ever tonight.

Eventually, after about 70 minutes 2 stewards (average age 72) walk up to have a word with him and tell him to watch his language. He's an hard lookin bstrd so they didn't labour the point but on their way back down they rounded on some young kid sat right behind me. For what? "You've been seen on camera taking photographs. You've got to stop" After much hilarity and abuse they shuffled off back down the steps.

Head is banging. Got a weird rash on my forehead where I think I've burst a blood vessel. Drank Baltika.

What a fvckin night!!

Dougie nailed it again. I never thought I'd see this group of players win a proper fvckin battle. Fair play.

Win on Sarurday and it's on. Big time.

i thought n'gog looked good tonight. SKD looked tired in the second half and Craig Davies brought something new and turned the tide. the last twenty minutes or so we really turned the screw. Apart from Alonso's minor lapse in concentration, the defence did little wrong. medo looked good if a little hesitant on the ball. spearing and the rest of the midfield did little to set the world alight but nor did they put many a foot wrong.
for 70 mins a draw was a fair result, last twenty we really kicked on but still rovers forced a save or two out of lonergan. The keeper, i thought looked either a bit small or mistiming his jumps, always seemed to be at full stretch.

Wow! Just fecking wow!

Not celebrated a goal like that since I don't know when! Eagles ran the full length of the pitch and celebrated infont of the Dingles! Now I don't know if it was the Burnley link or the sick chants that made him do it, but it was a fantastic moment.

We deserved that win. Played some really nice stuff but lacked that quality in front of goal. I was convinced we was going to lose when they got a free late on.. I looked up to the sky and asked Nat to give us a hand and it worked  cheesy I know, but the lads played really well and deserved to win.

The ref was awful! If we go up I will never moan at a ref again after sampling the officials in this league.

For me Dawson was immense but Alonso was MOTM for me. Especially first half. Didn't give Pedersen anything and pushed us forward at every opportunity.

I've not seen us since the Burnley game due to shifts at work but we look transformed and we look like a team who expects to win.. We have a swagger about us now and a confidence I haven't seen for a long time. We pressed well, passed well, found space and players had a skip in there step.

Lonergan - Did well, never once had me worried even with a few balls that almost lobbed in. Caught balls when he had to and punched when he couldn't. Controlled his area. Keeps the shirt for me.

Alonso - MOTM for me. Did his job and kept Pedersen quiet. Got forward well and was involved in most that was good.

Dawson - Epic as usual. Headed everything and always talking letting everyone know there jobs.

Knight - Did ok, the only player that worries me on the ball but did ok tonight with only one mistake letting the ball bounce and Dawson saved his blushes.

Rickets - Played well and also got forward when he could.

Lee - Getting back to his best, held the ball well and got forward at every chance. Some nice crosses and didn't put a foot wrong all night for me.

Spearing - Usual busy self. Got himself in the way and closed down well.

Medo - Looks promising. Very laid back on the ball and does the simple things well. Usually finding his man. Did have one or two mis-placed passes but looks to still be getting his match sharpness. More than good enought to fill Spearings boots if he doesn't sign permanent.

Pratley - What an engine this guy has. Didn't stop running all night. Was a little worried we might miss his running when he went off but we did ok.

Davo - Not his fault but well passed it for me. Headed a few balls onto nobody and kicked a lot of balls high in the air. Doesn't work with Ngog for me. They do the same job but Ngog does it better and has goals in him.

Ngog - Never stopped trying all night. Held the ball well and danced through players but couldn't get that killer pass or space for a shot.

Subs

Craig Davies - Didnt have a massive impact but did a job when he came on. Did more in his 20 or so minutes than Davo did in his 80ish minutes.

Eagles - Looked up for it when he came on. Tried to get into the game and won us a few corners. Did very well to make space for his goal. The place erupted  just in time to shut the muppets up in the away end acting the billy big bollocks in front of the stewards.

Sorry if my post is abit all over the place  still not calmed down :D

Absolutely terrible ref, never screamed so loud in my life as I did when Eagles scored!

Brilliant!

Remember when Cahill scored vs City and ran back into our half to celebrate and City just kicked off? N'gog stood in blackburn's half tonight so they couldn't do similar.

MOM N'gog

Best moment at the reebok for a long time, brilliant goal made better by the fact he placed it so well it tantalised us all the way in. We were really good and they worked hard and defended well but we just didn't give up and kept at em. Strikers both played well, ngog looked dangerous all night and used his strength to deflect the ball to eagles who had a lot to do. fair play to the lad.

Blackburn fans seem to think they edged it, looked totally one sided to me.

Bolton were by far the better team, would have been a better game if the referee got a decision right every now and then instead of giving everything against us.

As I see it, pretty obvious with the two games a week, and No'gog apparently running his bollocks off, Dougie has to try and conserve some team energy somewhere. Pretty certain he won't start on Saturday and we might see Sordell with N'gog and later with Craig Davies or the other way round..K.D will probably make the bench. The fact he's using four strikers is encouraging for attacking football. Sordell and Craig Davies must still be pretty fresh for weekend.

Laughable if they really think they edged it! For the majority they just tried looping a long ball over the top to Rhodes who didn't get close. Even Knight out run him on one occasion.

Late on they had a few chances but not the better team, not by a long shot. Without the ref giving them a free kick every 5 minutes they wouldn't have got near Lonergan.

Just seen the goal on SSN, but didn't show the full celebration. If anyone sees it, please post it!

I thought he ran to the corner but doing an Adebayor? Amazing.

Spearing or N'gog man of the match for me. Also can't believe how how much on an improvement Darren Pratley is. Looked solid at the back too.
