Tonight's Football

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Ferguson was just too distraught to speak. He's a quiet, gentle type of soul with a bit of a delicate disposition and was just far too upset to speak.
I honestly wondered whether he'd finally had that stroke he's been cultivating.

Sadly not, it seems.

Inter not in the game so far. Spurs 2-0 up and bossing things. Parker immense doing a Paul Scholes in the midfield. Bale scored but then tried it on in the box and got carded. Inter one golden chance before the break but dragged it wide. Not the Inter of old.

Former Chelsea forward Enrique de Lucas was spotted drinking a beer while sat on the substitutes' bench in Sevilla trouncing of Celta Vigo.

Certainly looks like a beer to me.

Good. Its about time footballers started acting like men again. Make it compulsory - 4 pints pre match rule.

#moyesout doing the rounds.

Good.. He's a boring fvcker who cons people into thinking he's a overtly stricken miracle worker. Everton fans want a change. They've stagnated.

And who do they believe might do better on the same meager rations? I'll tell you what, I hope they do lose Moyes - he's deserving of better than that bunch of over-opinionated pricks. Let's see just how they get on without him.

I'm not sure they (the few i know) are overly arsed about bring better. Think they're after something different. Something to potentially get excited about. Someone who might take them beyond mediocrity if they've got £12m to spend on players like bilyaletdinov

Ergo - someone that can do better then, however you want to look at it!

Possibly. But not immediately.

Be careful what you wish for and all that, but there's more to the spectator sport than grinding out as many points as possible to hope you finish in the top 10

OK. I'll point that out to West Ham fans, and remind Owen Coyle.

You're missing the point.

As I said. There's more to it than who can be the scrappiest team in a scrappy Everton game.

Maybe they want entertainment. Maybe they won't mind losing more often as long as they get to be entertained. Maybe they might even wouldn't be that arsed about relegation because they'll be there next season visiting new grounds and doing something other than cheating to gain shit points whenever the opportunity arises.

Maybe I'm just too romantic about football.

Everton fans will get a shock when Moyes leaves IMO.

Bit like when Allardyce left here.

It's all very well to talk about stagnating, but when you've overachieved the usual path after is unpleasant.

I don't recall being too entertained in our relegation season. Or since. The "new grounds" haven't done much to cheer me up either. I think I was much more entertained watching Campo, JJ, Djorkaeff, Joof, Anelka, Stelios etc. Even though we might have won less.

Correct. Stagnating in the top half of the Premiership isn't too bad.

IMO, Moyes has consistently done a very good job at Everton.

Moyes is one dull b'stard tho.

I have a mate who's a major Everton fan, scouser but lives in Ascot & has a season ticket & makes most games. We chivvy ourselves along with loathing of various red-shite.

He is of the "it's about time he went" and I gave him a dose of "beware what you wish for". This could, just, be their Stoke 0-5 result. The fans, players and officials appear to be utterly deflated.

Everton will be in the championship within a few years if they sack him only about 5 managers on the planet could do at Evertion what he has done. I know he is Preston but there is no need to dislike him for it.
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.
