Who do your kids support?
My 3-year-old daughter came home from nursery last night singing 'Glory Glory Man United' (we do live in that part of the world).
I have now taught her the correct words to this tune, but I was wondering if anyone else has had similar problems with their kids?

Got two looked after kids and both reds. One of them was briefly a blue last year though
My own offspring, a gurl, couldn't give a stuff.

Re: Who do your kids support?
Mine have both been told it is Bolton or the orphanage.
My daughter isn't in to any sport but my 4 year old lad loves football. Doesn't really understand having a 'team' is important yet and just likes kicking the ball in the garden.

That said, of those of my family who pretend to support anybody, none support the Whites (son-in law apart, but he watches Manc gams on the TV too). Shameful (which I regularly tell them). My brother's early years were spent in United paganism but he got religion eventually and is now a true White. Always been a mystery that anybody from Bolton supports teams they have no connection with. On-the-spot fines for anybody walking around town in a United or Liverpool shirt might raise a few bob for the council.

I have 2 sons, both now in their 20's.
I like to say they have no interest in football. Let's leave it at that.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

I also have 2 sons who fall into the same category as yours. One has no interest in football. The other supports Liverpool.bobo the clown wrote:I have 2 sons, both now in their 20's.

Re: Who do your kids support?
Before Reading went up if we had done that round here then the council would have millions coming in there pockets everyyear (assuming you tax then everytime they wear a shirt that is not of alocal football team)TANGODANCER wrote:CLASSIC....malcd1 wrote:Mine have both been told it is Bolton or the orphanage.![]()

I told my daughter if she supported that lot she would be up for adoption, she's grown up now (sortish) and not interested.spraggy wrote:My 3-year-old daughter came home from nursery last night singing 'Glory Glory Man United' (we do live in that part of the world).

My dog (proper 57) had his anal glands emptied once and yes the smell is something to behold!!
Re: Who do your kids support?
I remember once talking about Italian football with a mate and a little cousin of mine. When asked if he followed any Italian teams his first question was "Who's good?"
I tried to tell him Udinese but he was having none of it.
He's also a red. Some of them just grow up wrong.

Bolton for Little Miss Enfield.
In school (primary) she had the usual Gooners and Yids (am I allowed to post that?) as well as Man Yoo, Chelsea and Liverpool.
She also had two boys in her class who supported Everton and Preston. It helped her to realise it wasn't a bad thing to stand out and she was always invited to the 'Football Parties' that the boys always seemed to have.
Proud of my girl.
