Well, as long as you sort out the bins... and the market. People are always on about the market.bwfcdan94 wrote:Lost Leopard Spot wrote:bwfcdan94 wrote:Will be probably get a season ticket next season as I will probably be living in Bolton...... on my own! What, you arrive and everyone else leaves (

, yes the town of Bolton and it's surrounding area will be left in the capable hands of Dan.
Re: season ticket prices 2013/2014
What is so bad about the market. I will start by purchasing fire proof bins and will then allocate at least halve of the remaining council budget to the football club only to find out that Bolton like most councils has about £100 in the budget left5 to spend.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Well, as long as you sort out the bins... and the market. Seriously? I have to say it comes as little surprise, unfortunately. I seems to me that in the eyes of the club the ticket office seems to be something of a hindrance and an avoidable expense. You only need to look at the queue outside it on a matchday to see this.Annoyed Grunt wrote:Same for me that.......Salford Trotter wrote:Me too Bruce but the plonkers forgot to add my son's ST to the bill, in fact they forgot about him completely as they had no record of me renewing on his behalf...i despairBruce Rioja wrote:Confirmation came through today regarding their plan to plunder my finances!

It doesn't surprise me either. The reason our tickets have increase by £50 is my lad gets free stuff......

Re: season ticket prices 2013/2014
The lad I spoke to in the shop said that all tickets on direct debit get separate letters but they can't all be sent at the same time. I've got 1 but just waiting on my wifes to come through.
Seriously, might wanna think before you speak. Don't need to be so negative.

Completely disagree, the club shop/ticket office do themselves no favours whatsoever and from what I've been told it's always been the case.NiceHotCuppaTea wrote:The lad I spoke to in the shop said that all tickets on direct debit get separate letters but they can't all be sent at the same time. As for queues, just dont turn up half an hour before the game and then moan about having to queue.
I wanted to move seats, just a couple of rows back because my dad struggles with the steps, I was told I couldn't because the seats I wanted, which are always empty, were reserved for the youth team. My dad phoned a day later and asked the same question, he got told the seats were taken by season ticket holders already. How can they give two completely different answers when surely the information is stored on the system!?

I think you might. The place is an absolute farce. Always has been and is actually getting even worse.NiceHotCuppaTea wrote: Seriously, might wanna think before you speak.

Re: season ticket prices 2013/2014
I don't think they do need to think before they speak. It can't be that hard to co-ordinate mail going to the same address to be sent at the same time, and I think a lot of people have had bad experiences with the ticket office and it's piss poor organisation. My friend went in to confirm he didn't want to renew his season ticket. Was asked to sign a napkin saying 'I hereby confirm I do not want to renew my season ticket' and was told he would receive and e-mail confirming this, which he then didn't receive.NiceHotCuppaTea wrote:The lad I spoke to in the shop said that all tickets on direct debit get separate letters but they can't all be sent at the same time. Mail merge programs are fairly ubiquitous and I'd have thought a bit of a necessity for organisations that post a lot of stuff. I see no reason whatsoever why that statement outlined in bold above is not a load of bollox.NiceHotCuppaTea wrote:The lad I spoke to in the shop said that all tickets on direct debit get separate letters but they can't all be sent at the same time. True, if they are posting out thousands of letters I can understand them not all arriving at the same time.

Having worked in the fulfilment business, dealing with far more subscriptions and renewals than BWFC will manage in a century, I can assure you there are many ways and means to get it right. There is no excuse. Additionally, it isn't like they haven't got a bit of form in the old ticketing areaNiceHotCuppaTea wrote:The lad I spoke to in the shop said that all tickets on direct debit get separate letters but they can't all be sent at the same time. Agree with Bruce although with the caveat of I've rarely bought tickets from other clubs so can't compare the level of service across the industry. So farce may be slightly far, but the service isn't good compared to other similar industries.Bruce Rioja wrote:I think you might. The place is an absolute farce. In fact the whole "football service" is shit. I don't know if it's still the case but you used to have to wander from the ticket office round to the "commercial dept" if you wanted away day travel. It's a minor thing but surely to feck it wouldn't be that hard to do it all from one window with one transaction?
I don't think their systems are that good. They regularly get things wrong with renewals and then "blame the systems" they use.
I do get the impression that the club just see the ticket office as a means to an end rather than what it should be the front face of the club itself.
