One win over Spurs, which?
What would you rather have, 3 points or next round?

Historically, Norm, you have scalded Allardyce for selecting a fringe/youth-11 for the Cup games. This seems to indicate that you would prefer a better run in the Cup via more sensible selection.
In conclusion I would say thatyou should vote for the Cup. Whether you could stand the wrath of Billy, I leave that to you........

yeah - like we are spoilt for choice when it comes to Trophies.
Bottome line - the cup, any cup, is our best way into Europe - especially if we meet one of the top three in a cup final.
In the next round there are five all-Premiership games resulting in 5 premiership teams being eliminated in this round alone. Therefore, should we beat Spurs tomorrow and get through to the next round, this will present our best chance of winning a cup and getting into Europe than ever before..........
Sheesh.........

i just hope we put out a half decent team....i know its only the 3rd round so it's not likely, but we dont usually have such a big team this early so we should. Spurs are usually one of people's favourites for the CC so if we could get rid of them twud be a bonus. A cup run would be nice, and now i have a job i could afford to go to the matches LOL
Nay-Nay: so good they named me twice
"oh Nicky Hunt, should play up front, oh Nicky Hunt should play up front"
