Re: Possible Loan deals
Here is a left field idea what about trying to get Peter Odemwingie on loan a player who doesn't want to be at WBA and could do a great job for us and put himself back in the window by bagging a few goals!

It is understood Freedman has not ruled out bringing in new recruits and is beklieved to have been chasing Fulham’s Kerim Frei, Liverpool’s Raheem Sterling, Everton starlet Ross Barkley and Manchester City winger Scott Sinclair.
Freedman told Bolton News: “Whether you think I’m right or wrong, I’m not one for making signings just to gee up the fans and see yourself up on Sky Sports.
“What I like to do is bring in signings to try and paint a picture so that fans know where we are trying to go.
“It’s very difficult at this stage to get good players but we are trying. We are very close but when will these Premier League boys let them out? I don’t know yet, so we’ll just have to keep working on it.”

How come Everton has starlets when everybody else just has footballers?thebish wrote:click lancashire wrote:Bolton Wanderers manager Dougie Freedman is adamant he will only dip into the loan market if the players he reels his squad needs are available.

Plus I don't like this idea of footballers and starlets painting pictures.
And what's so wrong about geeing up the fans?

Yes we don't need Dougie giving crap interviews through his car window on the way into Euxton every day. Just run the buggers over. Unless it's Charlie Webster in which case an intimate one-on-one in a secluded office might be in oredr during which she would....
Sorry getting a bit carried away.

Re: Possible Loan deals
Perhaps because the writer wished to make it seem less like an endless list of Clubname's Forename Surname. Pity the same rigorous standards weren't applied to the mistypes in the first and second paragraphs ("reels" and "beklieved").Lost Leopard Spot wrote:How come Everton has starlets when everybody else just has footballers?thebish wrote:click lancashire wrote:Bolton Wanderers manager Dougie Freedman is adamant he will only dip into the loan market if the players he reels his squad needs are available.

It's always been the same since the 1960's with that lot.Lost Leopard Spot wrote:How come Everton has starlets when everybody else just has footballers?
Every player coming through the ranks is the next Alan Ball, next Brian Labone etc.
More recently, the next Rooney.
There've been all sorts of shite lumbered with these epithets.
Citeh were the ame with the next Bell, Lee, Marsh but I suspect then current moneybags stuff sort of moves them out of this style these days.
