Dirty Dancing again BB ?Bijou Bob wrote:Today I'm happy that the traffic cop on the M55, hidden behind a large truck when I came off the slip road and went to lane three at warp factor five (to overtake said slow moving truck), saw fit to merely pull alongside and wag a finger at me.
Note to self - don't play favourite album on CD at top of slip road.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Re: Today I'm happy about......
It is now, at last (I'm sure it's a week later this year) British Summer time.
The optimism of Spring, the snow has (almost ) gone, long nights, my cooker clock is correct once again. Eating 'real' thick-cut smoked bacon from a fantastic old fashioned deli with bread sliced doorstep style and a fried duck egg while drinking lapsong tea listening to "An Englishman in New York".
Not a bad few minutes at all !!

In my mind it's Cheshire here. I can actually see Cheshire from the bedroom window, so it's not that big a leap of faith.clapton is god wrote:^ And then back to reality. Its still bloody freezing, its soon time to go back to work and you live in Wales.
... &, as work consists largely of sacking Scousers what's not to like ?
It is still chilly tho, granted.

Today, I'm happy about sitting by a sandy, golden beach in warm sunshine, accompanied by a large draught superbly. It's currently 23 degrees. You're welcome
