What a transformation this season has been thanks to Dougie.

Massive job to do still like.

But this is the first time we've hit the top 6 all season!
im sure we were higher than 6th before the first whistle of the season was blown

Wonder if any of their knobhead fans will be on here tonight, the way that they were last season, when we went down?

I'd like to be sympathetic considering how close they are in distance and being supportive of local sides, but after the stuff they put on here when we got relegated last season they can get to feck... Good riddance.

probably not, they'll be too busy crying into their w@nk socks, my mates a hacking bury loser and he wont even buy warbutons because it comes from Bolton. The sooner they dissolve as a club, the better

wow, could be worse you could be a portsmouth fan
pompey winning 2/1 at Brentford in 89th minute. Losing 3/2 in 90 th minute.......................
I don't think so. They, along with Hartlepools, are five points adrift with two games remaining. A remote chance, especially considering Oldham have two games in hand, but still a chance.
You're right (and I was wrong) - Pompey still have a chance. Unless they come out of administration this week, incurring a 10-point penalty. And it's worth noting that the only team they can catch, Oldham, have a home game in midweek against a team managed by their manager's dad.

Looks like Stockport are going to drop into whatever's below the conference. fecking hell. When I think back to them being our arch rivals - Kevin Francis, Andy Preece et al. :(

Indeed. Look at our sometime rivals - Stockport, Bury, Wolves, Blackburn. And folks complain about Phil 'n' Eddie.

It's a great achievement to be in a play off place from where we were when Dougie took over.

One word of caution is that Tuesday looks massive.
Lose and Leicester go above us, with Forest at Boro you'd fancy them to win too.

Essentially if we can avoid defeat at Leicester I fancy us to sneak in.

Lose there and looking at others run ins it looks pretty difficult!

Bristol are a pretty poor side but they have good home form, so this was always going to be a tough game. 3 points is fantastic, especially with the Forest and Leicester results. I fancy us to beat Leicester too and if we can, I think that will likely secure a play off spot.

Can't recall Forest & Brighton but I wouldn't swap ours for Leicester's.

Fantastic feeling. Having to pinch myself. From a near-relegation position to PlayOffs in 2 months, just incredible.

Still a lot of work to do now, but we have the momentum, and players seem to have the bit between their teeth.
... of course I may just be talking bo11ocks

When the final whiistle went the roof started leaking in our flat.

Still didn't put a dampener on things. although it did, literally. the kitchen floor, to be precise.

Now, for an evening of beer, golf and Steve fecking Claridge :oyea:

sad times for north west football.

fondly remember going to a 0-0 draw at their place a few years back as a lad. Claus Jensen hit the crossbar.
