Today, my 10 year old son had his first game of Monopoly with his old man. He lost, only just, but learned a thing or two.

He's now trying to beat his mother in game number 2. I suspect if he leaves that Bank unguarded for another pi$$, he's going to learn another valuable lesson about life.

Bernard Gallagher tells the story of a 'German' golfer who was so tight, he used to record porn on his hotel tele with his own video recorder. A mate once asked to borrow one of the films, and the golfer didn't realise a reflection of himself knocking one out had been caught in the reflection of the tele!!

Those signs in the train toilets which say 'please do not flush whilst stopped at a station', they aren't because it just gets emptied on the tracks are they? If so, I am NOT welcome in Swindon ever again.

That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

You used to be able to see right down the bog hole to the track. :D

Don't fret. They'll send it onto you if you booked the ticket with some identifier.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

If it is anything like FGW's sister company (FCC), you needn't worry about the tracks - it's the train floor you need to be concerned with :o

Being in a decisvie mood, earlier, I thought I'd have a Pot Noodle for lunch. Got to the cupboard and spotted both Chicken and Mushroom AND Beef and Tomato.

Stressed out at the momentous decision I was about to take, I rationalised it and figured that I'd "dip" as this was the only way to detrmine such a matter of State. Ignoring the results of the "dip" (as I'd forgotton how to frig it when there's only two left), I went for the Beef and Tomato.

I have now come to the conclusion that "dipping" should not be used to select Pot Noodles, but still holds an important place in the selection process for more mundane things, like wives and girlfriends.

You'd forgotten how to what it!?

I once ate a pot noodle before a dancing comp, standing nervously back stage waiting for my turn I had to do a big cough because something felt stuck in my throat, coughed up a full pea from previously mentioned pot noodle!

No not a typo, folks were using the phrase "to frig something", way before some "juniors" thought they'd made it up. :D

Monkey's got the chicken pox /
And out goes you.

Worthy - you really do learn something new every day!

Chicken and mushroom pot noodles are far superior to beef and tomato as well.
