Re: 4 Games to go
Somebody above mentioned goal difference. I'm very very afraid it is going to come down to that.

Feck it,
Win all 4 we are in the playoffs. Anything else we have to hope others do us a favour. It is well and truly in our hands now. This last bit is what scares the shit out of me!

It's Sunday lunchtime and I'm feeling nervous about Tuesday evening. It's redhunculous. I think I'd better go to the pub - it's the only solution!

Re: 4 Games to go
Last season with three games left I was extremely confident. I didn't see how QPR could beat us. A sadder and a wiser man I'll wait to see how it plays out. Dougie did say hitting form at this time was part of the plan. I wonder if he'll sell the Forth Bridge to me.

Re: 4 Games to go
Don't mess about waiting for Freedman, he's busy at the moment. Send me a cheque for a few quid and I'll put it in the post.

Yer man on page one says he thought we'd get in in Feb, but doesn't now. Dafuq?!
Best bit of this thread was someone calling Enoch the 'yoof'!
As for ze football, I don't think Palace are secure in the play-offs yet. It's got to the stage where I've started thinking we might do it, which is always dangerous. Which way round are the semi-legs? We'd almost certainly be at home first (4th would be a bit much!) and I've an inkling that's the saturday/sunday after the last home game, away the tuesday/wednesday, with the final a week monday after. If we got palace, watford or Brighton in the semi's that could work out wonderfully!

What?! That's bollocks! For TV I assume? Well, that's pissed on my chips, I was hoping for a trip home for Blackpool, again for the home leg, an away evening in London and then Wembley. Wankers.

Hardly much chance of that unless Palace have a real wobble.....truewhite15 wrote:Ah, ya barsterds. I'm gonna be on me jollies for the 1st leg. I hope to god we're away first...

It's not a randomised process then? 5th and 6th are always at home in the first leg?

Yep .... 3rd v 6th, 4th v 5th. Higher team home second.truewhite15 wrote:It's not a randomised process then? 5th and 6th are always at home in the first leg?
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Re: 4 Games to go
We can do it. I'm proper nervous for Tuesday though. For me, the Ashton Gate trip was what would make or break us. I'm confident about going to Cardiff, and even Leicester, but I thought City would beat us. I imagined another London Road disaster. Since we got over that hurdle I reckon we'll stay in the top six. If we can win on Tuesday and then beat 'Boro we could probably even afford to lose at Cardiff as long as we go on to beat Blackpool. The main thing is not to drop points against a team that can harm us - Leicester.
