Re: Leicester away
Radio Manchester and Marc Iles were both saying we were comfortable until those few minutes of madness. Sure Eagles isn't doing his defensive work properly and Butterfield is struggling but sounds like we've done pretty much what we can.TANGODANCER wrote:Really? Dyer sounds to be having a cakewalk to me. It's those few minutes of madness that lose matches. Only answer is to score two back. Come on, do it.BWFC_Insane wrote:Sounds like we got everything right in that half. Apart from a few minutes of madness.DJBlu wrote:How do we expect to win when we don't have shots on target?
It happens. It's football.
It's the usual story of individual mistakes costing us.
Can't see us coming back but other scores give some encouragement.

Butterfield was seven shades of shite against Wolves. Sounds like he's being ripped apart tonight. I'd rather have a half-fit Ricketts at right back.

Yeah take that back, Palace losing by 3 and Leicester still have to play themBWFC_Insane wrote:We don't. If results stay as they are, then we'd still have a good chance. A draw would be superb now.Relentless09 wrote:We need to win this if we want any chance of getting a play off spot

Re: Leicester away
It's half time, we're still in the game. As long as the players don't panic as much as the supporters appear to be we have an excellent chance of salvaging something from this game.
That 45 will of taken a lot out of Leicester, we have quality on the bench to change up a gear in the later stages of second half.

Why do our commentators go bananas when the opposition score?

I'd take a last minute, scabby, offside, handballed, off the crossbar but not over the line, own goal off the keepers backside if you offered it to me now.

It really is a great league this.
Look at Brighton-the jammy fckers-currently up to 4th just by managing to keep a clean sheet.

Re: Leicester away
Dye would be diving all over the place against Ricketts. Get it right in midfiled and up front and Buttefield won't matter too much. Keep pressing and eventually they'll take Dyer off for a defender, then.....jonnybwfc wrote:Spot ontruewhite15 wrote:Butterfield was seven shades of shite against Wolves. Aye and then cos he's playing when he's not right and fecks his Achilles again and is out for the season. Brilliant.jonnybwfc wrote:Spot ontruewhite15 wrote:Butterfield was seven shades of shite against Wolves. Sounds like he's being ripped apart tonight. Ricketts hasn't been great this season either. And is almost always been rested when there are 3 in a week.

Re: Leicester away
I get that. But Butterfield is a total liability. He was battered against Wolves, and now it appears he's being battered against Leicester. If we have to play him, then we have to play Chungy on the right, because he offers more protection to his full back than Eagles does.BWFC_Insane wrote:Aye and then cos he's playing when he's not right and fecks his Achilles again and is out for the season. I still think Butterfield is our worst loan signing since Rasiak though...

No shape in the team according to Holden. Reckons Eagles and Pratley are too advanced.
