He said it live on Radio Manchester. You could probably find it somewhere online?

It was quite funny, he even refused to apologise for his description of Durham (though he did apologise for the language).
That's fantastic!!

There were rumours that he'd seen his arse after not getting off the bench on Saturday.

He's apparently been told not to bother coming to the training ground now as he's being disruptive.

Twitter rumours, granted. But no reason not to believe it at the mo, as the guy who tweeted it is supposedly spot on with his BWFC stuff. Suppose we'll see this Saturday.

All a bit sad really that it's come to this.

Only himself to blame though, I mean, he didn't have to marry the c*nt!

According to Dougie, KD may well be in the squad for Saturday. (B.N.) Makes nonesense of some rumours.

Mark it down, I want it noted. Another strange statement. (Not that it makes the slightest difference to my life or our fortunes).

It means, "We'll see if he's stopped being a mard-arse and we'll see if anyone else is pissed off with him"

Thats quite a vague quote and very very removed from saying he will be in the squad. In fact it's almost so vague I'd suggest he didn't really want to answer the question.

Rumours been around for a while that he's been causing trouble behind the scenes. Given he didn't travel with the team to Leicester I'd suggest that it looks quite likely to be the case.

The let's substitute "squad" for frame and note I said, "may well be" and not "will". Then again, you could just Google today's B.N and read it all for yourself since you seem able to read Dougie's mind.

I've read it already. Playing the DSB game, these are the actual quotes....
I’ve said I’m trying to get younger players in, Josh Vela came in (against Leicester) and did fantastic – Tom Eaves came on at the end because I feel we've got to go with the unknown a little bit. Tom could be a surprise package for us and we've just got to get him on the pitch as often as we can to move things forward.

Kevin has got that experience but we'll just have to wait and see how he is, and how other players are around him.”
He's effectively saying there that a kid who was on loan at Shrewsbury until a couple of days ago is ahead of Davies in the pecking order. Read into that what you will......

And I'll be surprised if Davies isn't in the squad against Boro given our injury problems. But if he's not, then that really will tell it's own story!

Without getting personal, against TW members or BW players, I think it's entirely possible to read that quote (the only one specifically about KD on the BN report) and not stop believing the idea that KD has become disruptive.

"Kevin has that experience" - damning with faint praise to say KD has "experience"...
"We'll just have to wait and see how he is" - is his head right?
"...and how other players are around him" - is he disruptive?

It's possible that Freedman was asked specifically about KD and he could hardly say "no comment". For a start, if we get one more injury up front he'll be more or less forced to play him at some point, unless he simply rotates Sordell, CDavies and Eaves (and assuming he wouldn't again lean on a kid like Odelusi).

That said, DF also said "“Some players who have not been playing will now need to step up.” And that certainly includes the club captain.

It sounds to me like an appeal for togetherness, with a caveat that he still has enough options to leave people out...

Don't suppose it all matters if we get into, and up, via the play-offs.

I'm sure there'll be plenty of time to weep for this wasted UHT if we don't.

Only reason I posted it was because the headline said "Dougie puts all four strikers on alert"....Beyond that?

Headline's not written by Dougie, though. But yes, Freedman appears to be giving a qualified call to arms to the club captain.
