Re: Tonight's Football
Marseille's Joey Barton took to Twitter to urge Liverpool to back their player.
He wrote: "Suarez is a good as a player as there is in world football at the minute. Yes, he's messed up and shouldn't have bitten another player but a player like him has to play right on the edge. Without it he wouldn't be the talent he is. LFC would be mad not to back him IMO. If they don't I'm sure the queue of Champions League clubs would stretch round the block."
Cock.

Re: Tonight's Football
Barton is definitely a cock but he probably right for a change. If Liverpool do get rid of him, he will move to a much bigger club somewhere else in Europe. I hate Suarez because he is a cheating horrible piece of work but they would be stupid to get rid of him. He is one of he few world class players they have.Zulus Thousand of em wrote:Marseille's Joey Barton took to Twitter to urge Liverpool to back their player.

I personally would love to see the back of him though. He is everything that is bad about today's game.

Re: Tonight's Football
It was quite amazing to watch that footage. His reaction to having an arm put across his chest was to go into a temper and bite the offending appendage.
Something not right with the lad. That's the action of a child who can't articulate their displeasure verbally and so resorts to biting. A child of around 4 to 6 years old.
And he's a fecking racist. The cvnt.

Liverpool say they won't sell him, so in effect continue to back him.
I think that says a lot about Liverpool football club and what it stands for.

And Boston, and I think Jonjo Shelvey's goldfish might have died.
Also, if I was going to bite someone, a Serbian centre-half would not be at the top of my list! Ivanovic has been worryingly calm about all this! Think Suarez might get dissappeared!

Somebody dies every week. It'll be my turn one day. They might just as well have a black armband designed into the kit.clapton is god wrote:Anne Williams, one of the driving forces behind the Justice campaign, died this week.Bruce Rioja wrote: What were the gaffer tape armbands out for yesterday?

You just don't get it do you, it's an inbuilt native scouse thing like a natural instinct. It's like me yelling Row 1 fire, Row 2, Fire, Row 3... you'd have your rifle loaded and aimed quicker than a scouser could sob.Zulus Thousand of em wrote:Somebody dies every week. Re: Tonight's Football
As mentioned previously, I was there yesterday and I found the whole experience/atmosphere quite strange. Before KO, rounds of applause rang out, for some unknown reason. Me and my lad couldn't work out why, but I reckon it was due to the show of huge flags that appeared one by one on the Kop.Lost Leopard Spot wrote:You just don't get it do you, it's an inbuilt native scouse thing like a natural instinct. We then had the one minute's applause, for the reasons mentioned above.
Everyone in the ground then sttod up and joined in with a rendition of "Justice for the 96" after about 16 minutes.
The half time entertainment was some blind kids taking penalties at the kop end, against some bloke in a green mascot outfit.
I've never known an atmosphere like it. Very dour and downbeat. Not helped by the stadium announcer who has the most boring voice on record.
Hope is what keeps us going.

I truly think I'd have punched the little fckr ... and punched him again & again until someone physically stopped me and then, once they let go have started punching him again. What is known in the trade as an Andy Todding.
You really could never get bored with punching that nasty shite could you ?
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Oh for crying out loud. They've just shown Pikeys outside the ground selling '20 Times' flags. Probably to all the wankers that are looking to avoid the traffic.
